If you’re at least dabbling in the comic scene in Brisbane, you would have heard of Ashcan Comics (if you could spare a few minutes to check them out, please do!).
The anthology my comic was a part of dealt with true stories and taboos. This was not an easy story to create, mainly because I don’t like talking about myself, but I’m pretty pleased how it turned out, even almost a year later since Ashcan #10 was released. I guess I was going for this beatnik style (kinda?) since it was going to be printed in black and white. Page 3 was the most fun to draw...
I have to thank @dcfish-diarycomics for putting everything together- the end product is (in my opinion) the best edition of Ashcan yet (HA!).
