bryony understands true sacrifice better than most people.

it’s an act of compassion at its core, done not for oneself but for the sake of others. little things: coins given when they aren’t asked for, giving time to someone that could’ve been used elsewhere, giving up little opportunities to make things work. or much bigger things, things that shatter lives and rebuild them from the ground up for better or for worse, second chances at something that never would’ve been otherwise. martyrs are revered for a reason.

more than anything else, she understands that it can mean giving something up that’s defined your entire life, if only it means sparing someone else pain.

lmao a few….swearing, drinking, picking fights, general…self destructive behavior…..he’s a mess and has a lot of issues and doesn’t know how to deal with them in a healthy way

i don’t think he really has any???? like he adopted the mindset of “take pleasure wherever/whenever you find it because you might be dead tomorrow….or an hour from now” pretty early on so he just rolls with things

tbh...a trident (which is what she’s going to use as her pact weapon when she finally gets to level 3) since it’s ... u kno.... a fisherman’s tool but also it can be used as a weapon....

also the image of dark waves crashing onto rocks, but that’s more of an image than an actual thing sooo....

10) What do they think of themself?

oh man...she’s kind of unsure of herself. like she thinks she’s a decent enough person and she tries her hardest to be kind and help others but there’s always that lingering sense of doubt. if anything i think she worries that she’s being selfish because of how intent she is on finding out what happened to her and i think she might feel a little bit cursed because of it. but she’s also a big believer of keeping a positive attitude and moving forward so she tries really hard not to get herself down

Honestly Ashe, I find that one new and excellent thing tends to happen per con I attend, and this year at Youmacon you were that new/excellent thing. I have trouble making and hanging on to friends at cons, but I’m so glad I met you and David? You two were just so damn sweet and welcoming and I’m really glad you guys hung out with us. I’m happy CR gave us an excuse to meet up and pal around. <3 I’m happy we could make that connection, looking forward to more shenanagins with you ;D
