no one's been bothering me about it but it's been mentioned once or twice, and i just wanna say that ashes ashes isn't a dead fic, i promise! chimes of bone just has me by the throat and won't let go, and there were other fics i had more drive for for a while, but other than a tiny issue where i need to rein in ashesx2's scope creep, it's very much still going to be finished!

if your lamb/narinder were aware of all of your AUs/universes, how would they feel about each/which one would they most prefer to end up in?

a good question! there's a lot of them because i have a million ideas and only commit to a few of them, but for tumblr, i think the ones people know me best for are constancy must transpose (post-game what if), chimes of bone (timeskip dieselpunk-esque holy war), and the yuri rock gods AU (giant rock goddess and her roller derby vibe vessel). So going off of those (links included where possible):

constancy must transpose would absolutely prefer their own world, given they've landed in a pretty comfortable place both romantically and in their lives, and would be very alarmed about what's going in the CoB universe, and very confused about the YRGA universe

chimes of bone would be the most conflicted, because CMT is more or less how things should have gone, but i think they'd still prefer their own universe with all its faults - even if it's not how things were meant to go, it's theirs all the same. they'd probably consider a vacation in the YRGA universe tho, the entertainment scene is off the fuckin charts

yuri rock gods AU would literally never choose any of the other universes, it's the lightest one i have and easily the most fun. both of them would think the narilamb from CMT are WAY too calm and responsible, and the narilamb from CoB are WAY too depressing and need to get their shit together. they're too busy playing shows, killing gods, and making out sloppy style to put up with anything i put the others through

There's another handful of specific AUs i've had floating around - the hide/seek animatic (consensual murder dates as a timeshare crown scheme) and ashes ashes (gods are dead apocalypse) comes to mind - but those are less well-known, i think

also the second part of ashes ashes is legitimately 99% done, i'm letting at least one person have a peek ahead of time just to let me know if i fucked up anything severely and then it's gonna go up

alright, i hate to do this, but i'll be skipping the next scheduled chapter drop for chimes of bone so that I can catch up/get ahead

so chapter 12 will come out in four weeks instead of two

(this said, there will be art and such as i work on things, it's just a break for the story not for me overall, maybe i'll fix the next part of ashes ashes while i'm at it)

In ashes ashes where is the Mystic Seller shouldn’t they have intervened yet

in my AUs, the Mystic Seller isn't a god, strictly speaking - they're an interdimensional salesperson, in essence, whose clientele are exclusively the ones who can afford their services, and if they intervene in anything it's by offering those services or striking a deal

in ashes ashes, at the start of the story, all the Crowned Gods from before are dead, with only the unclaimed Red Crown in existence

No gods, no business

So the Mystic Seller dipped ages ago lol
