Everyone has that one teacher whose impact on them follows them throughout their lives, and when a beloved high school drama teacher (Everick Golding) passes away, five close friends reconnect in their Virginia hometown. Avery (Christa B Allen) spearheads a celebration of life with her friends Ben (Ryan Rottman), Sarah (Ashley Newbrough), Noah (Cardi Wong) and Mia (Marielle Scott) to commemorate their favorite mentor that intersects with the Christmas traditions he famously enjoyed. As laughter, tears and the joy of the season intertwine, the friends are reminded of the kernels of wisdom that their teacher bestowed to each of them. All the while, Ben’s secret love for Avery may finally come to light as something more than friendship sparks between them. At the conclusion of the weeklong Christmas celebration, the greatest way of honoring their teacher lies in the ways they help one another rekindle loving ties and create brighter futures for each other.
