I originally thought Acxa would be Keith's mom too, but I have to admit I'm a bit confused? If she were his mom, wouldn't she have been part of the Blade of Marmora at some point, since that's suggested to be where Keith got his blade? I mean, I'm sure there COULD be other explanations (like Acxa being a spy or something :0) but that really throws me off, to be honest. Also she seems a bit young? Or maybe it's just me? (Still hoping it is his mom though! Hahah! :3)

Hey Im sorry for answering this so late!! I agree its confusing regarding Acxa’s history, and there is a chance she could be his sister! She seems a bit young, but remember aliens probably age differently and look different, and also maybe she IS a spy, and thats why she “failed” her mission in episode 6? Who knows.

Okay, so my main character lives in a kingdom made of clouds. They can live there because of the chemicals produced from a company on the world under the clouds that came out of their factories, which tightens and hardens particles in the clouds. (1)

But the culture in the kingdom is still pretty underdeveloped but the main problem I'm having is transportation. The main character has powers that enables her to fly, but I don't really know how to get everyone else around, since the entire (2)kingdom is separated in groups of clouds because they can't all just be clumped together. Should I give them some sort of flying machine or something else? Im not really sure what to do about if, because I'm not really good with mechanical stuff. (3)

Hey, thanks for the additional info! The first thing that honestly comes to mind, if the kingdom is separated into a bunch of different cloud-bunches, is that you’re going to need a local governor of some kind for each of the separate cloud-parts, especially if transportation and/or technology doesn’t allow for immediate communication. 

What I would go for, for transportation, depends a bit on the distance being traveled and the tech level. However, being up in the air already could make air travel easier. Something like an airplane could use a shorter runway because it doesn’t need to physically lift itself so far off the ground--it could have a shorter runway to gain speed, then drop off the end of the runway and have enough speed to glide+gain altitude from there. Also, I would assume that the planes wouldn’t need to get really high above the cities. 

Perhaps, if there are some sections that are relatively close and the winds between them are generally consistent, things like balloons or gliders might be viable alternatives? 

One thing you’ll have to consider is how big of a deal it is if someone traveling between cloud-cities gets stranded and is forced to land on the planet below. Could your flying character fly high enough to get back? Could an airplane designed for cloud-hopping make it off the ground? Is the ground dangerous for these people? 

And one more thing--how do they get materials, food, resources, etc to their cities? Do they have to bring soil up to grow food up there? Do they ship everything from the ground? If they ship everything from the ground, what is the benefit to living in the clouds?
