For the nickels thing:

If I had a nickel for every life where I got involved with another plane of existence and had to deal with monsters in my "sleep" (using this term loosely.. in one of these lives I fainted at midnight) every single night, I would have two nickels. Are we talking about weird kin dreams? I'm kin with Ashlyn Banner from School Bus Graveyard, and I had a dream where I was talking to my parents about Aiden specifically, and I... Called him my best friend? It makes me feel happy. That I grew that close to him (and presumably everyone else; I know that I thought highly of Taylor since I actually met her, and I thought v highly of Ben as well; I also thought Logan was flat-out precious). They were all really amazing people... I'm sure it also made my family happy that I had genuine friends, people that I wanted to be around. Sure, we were shoved together through circumstances, and as much as some of them annoyed or frustrated me at first, I know that I loved them. I know that I cared. And that dream, be it a kin mem in the form of a dream or just a dream, it reminded me of how much I cared about them--as shitty as I was at expressing it.
