Her father was gone. Calling the tall man with his shining armor father felt wrong, but Gamora didn’t know what else to call him. Even though he had only been there ( wherever here was ) once, Gamora still felt tied to him. Whatever was running through her small head had to do with him. Noticing that she wasn’t alone in the small pavilion where most days were spent, Gamora turned to look over the water at the stranger.
“You’re not Thanos.”

It was nice right now-- at least where Peter was. It was funny, he had just been thinking about somewhere that was quiet and pretty and then it was like he was there.
