I don't if I'm too late but could you do a lashton thing? Maybe them first meeting?
“Your glasses look so stupid,” A boy, who was a known asshole at Luke’s school laughed in his face.
Luke didn’t respond, he just continued to get the books he needed from his locker. He knows better than to start a scene.
He is used to getting picked on, it’s been happening awhile so now he knows how to tune it out and not let it affect him.
The guy slammed Luke’s locker shut before Luke had time to get his last book out.
Luke looked at the guy who had a huge smirk plastered onto his face, “Aww, is Luke gonna cry?”
“Hey, how about shut the fuck up and leave him alone,” A voice rang out behind Luke.
Luke turned around and there was a taller boy, a little taller than Luke was, standing behind him.
Luke recognized him. He was Ashton, the captain of the rugby team and he was two years above Luke.
“Oh, Ashton, are you here to rescue him? How cute,” The guy laughed.
“Say one more word and I will punch the daylights out of you, Drew,” Ashton said as he got in between Luke and him.
Drew got closer to Ashton but eventually backed off when Ashton stood up to him. He walked off, muttering some cuss words.
Ashton turned around to face Luke and smiled softly, “You okay, man? That guy is a fucking jerk. Don’t listen to anything he says. He’s my age and still fucking picks on the first years.”
“Yeah, um, I’m fine. Used to it, really,” Luke said quietly. Ashton was so beautiful. His hair was pulled back into a bun at the nape of his neck and his tortoise shelled glasses brought out his hazel eyes.
Ashton frowned and pulled Luke in for a hug, which shocked him. Luke hugged back awkwardly.
“Hey, where’s your class? I’ll walk you there. In case Drew decides to do something stupid,” Ashton offered.
“N-no it’s fine really. You’ll be late to yours… I’m fine,” Luke rambled as he peered at his feet.
“No, I insist, the names Ashton by the way. Most people call me Ash,” Ashton said has he held out his hand.
“Luke,” Luke said as he shook Ashton’s hand.
A couple months passed and Luke and Ashton had become much more than friends.
No one really picked on Luke anymore considering he was Ashton’s boyfriend, and everyone adored Ashton.
It was a strange change to go from having barely any friends to having quite a few.
He was with them all in the stands at the last rugby game of the season, wearing his Irwin jersey cheering his favorite boy on.
-Ash (i rly liked this au ashton would definitely protect luke)
