You were sitting on the sofa with a blanket wrapped around you while Teen Wolf played across the television. You nearly screamed when you heard a knock at the door. You tossed the blanket off you, walked over to the door and pulled it open, coming face to face with your best friend and the one and only Ashton Irwin. You smiled widely at him and gestured him inside,"Hey Ash! I wasn't expecting you today." He smiled at you, shut the door behind him and followed you to the living room,"yeah.. I um.. I was wondering if you... Maybe um wanted to.." You giggled and took his hands,"Spit it out Ash. What is it?" He took a deep breath,"doyoumaybepossiblywanttogoonadatewithme?" You shook your head at him,"Ash babe, slow down. What did you say?" He smiled slightly at you and swung your hands,"do you.. Want to go out? On a date. With me?" You grinned and nodded,"I would love to go on a date with you! When?" He smiled widely,"now." "Now?" You asked shocked. "Now." He nodded, blushing lightly and grinning. You smiled and nodded,"okay. Where are we going?" He smiled and started pulling you towards the door,"i figured we could go get some ice cream and go to the park. Then maybe get some dinner." You nodded and looked down at your clothes,"let me get changed first." After changing, you went to the ice cream parlor with Ashton. After the two of picked out your ice cream and grabbed a few napkins, you were on your way to the park. As you two were walking with you ice cream, you free hands somehow found each other and you laced your fingers together. He squeezed your hand and smiled at you, licking his ice cream. A few minutes of comfortable silence passed before he suddenly stopped walking. You turned around,"ash what?" "You've got a little-" he said, gesturing to your chin,"don't worry I got it." He said, grabbing a napkin from his pocket and wiping the ice cream gently off your chin. Instead of stepping back, you two continued holding eye contact. The atmosphere suddenly feeling electric. "You're beautiful.." He whispered as you two started leaning in. The moment your lips met, it felt like time had stopped. It was the two of you with your lips slowly moving in sync and fireworks going off behind your eyelids. You both pulled away and started walking to the park again, tossing your nearly melted cones in a nearby garbage can. When you arrived at the park, you started making your way to swings when he grabbed your hand. You turned around and smiled at him,"we can't go back to being 'just friends' after the kiss, Megan." You sighed shaking your head,"no we can't." You said. "Which is why-" he walked over to where a few wild flowers were growing and picked one up. He made his way back to you and kneeled down,"which is why I'm asking you to be my girlfriend. So-" he looked up at you with a smile lighting his features,"will you be my girlfriend?" You smiled, took the flower and kneeled down in front of him,"i would love to be your girlfriend." You said and threw your arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. He returned the hug just as tightly nuzzling his face into your neck,"finally." He mumbled causing you to laugh.
