I haven’t been posting an English cottage for a long time and when I came across the photo of this one in my archives from my travels to England two years ago, I thought it would perfectly fit for an October post with the moody skies as a background. I often wonder what fascinates me so much about English cottages and cottages in general. For me, I think it is the simple beauty, coziness and secureness that they stand for. Are you up for another English cottage that looks like it has come right out of a fairytale? Yes? Then how about this little gem? The thatched roof is so artfully done and I love the thatched “hoody” sheltering the charming blue front door with the climbing rose growing close to it. And do you spot the dogs running over the roof top? How cute is that?
