Marinette felt like her feet were barely touching the ground with the way Alya was tugging her arm, making them both run around Trocadéro, their laughter the only sound to be heard at sundown besides the constant traffic and tourists of the city.
Alya's laughter was like music.
The light show of the Tour Eiffel illuminated golden on Alya's face, making her glasses shine, making he glossy lips shine. Do her lips taste as good as they look? She knew they must taste like her pomegranate lip balm, the one she always carried around in a pocket or her bag. Marinette could only wonder how her lips would feel against hers.
