Asia stepped out of the building, stretching as she took in the sunlight. The building they often worked in was kept in low light most days and while she didn't mind...the sun was what she basked in. She made her way to one of the nearby cafes and got a latte that she would wind up downing once she was away from any prying eyes.

The heat of the latte running down her throat made the dragon purr and then she tossed it out in a trash can as she walked along the path to her car and then drove the directions that had become second nature after show days. She had no way to know that today would be a very different day than she had come to expect.

Once she was parked, she stepped outside and sighed happily at the fresh air and the sun as it shone on her skin, momentarily shimmering with the pattern of her scales as she walked through the treeline to the large hidden lake. While normally she would have changed form immediately, today she went into the water, sighing as she enjoyed the sun and just allowed the scales to show on her skin.

Asia smiled as she stepped out on the small stage, her skirt perfectly set so it appeared as though she was twirling around the entire time, and her black corset top hiding the rose designs that were woven into it. Her entire look was a mix between pinup girl and traditional sideshow girl, and she loved every bit of it. She always threw people off, being a shock artist, but she enjoyed what she could do. She had already done her fire breathing show, and now was the 'Electric Woman'. She stood on a small pedestal and curtsied to the crowd before sitting down on the chair behind her, placing her hand on one armrest and holding the other up. The announcement was given, and she smiled at her adopted father as he introduced her again before walking over with a light bulb. He placed it in her hand, and as a switch was flipped by another one of the girls, the bulb lit up, and she grinned, holding up her other hand for another bulb, and then finally put one between her teeth. She'd mastered all the fire acts, of course, but the electricity ones were thrilling, as there was always more to learn, as well as sword swallowing, and it had taken a lot to even be allowed to do them, but she was proving herself every show and she loved it to pieces.

After the show, she made her way out of the building, designed like a mix between a funhouse and a museum, posing with people and signing pictures before walking over to a tree to sit down on a small bench at the base of it, sighing softly with a small smile on her lips. Sometimes, the days went by so fast, but sometimes, she was able to take a few minutes to herself, and this appeared to be one of those days, at least, that was what she thought.

I did not get a chance to work on it until just recently. In fact, I love it so much, you can probably see it up there on The Arcanum website behind some of that parallax scrolling text. I like the idea of this kind of Chinese infinity, the repetition, the slight variations on a constant theme.
