recently while chatting the topic about how sad it is that i am used to men not respecting my boundaries and having weird (usually sexual) assumptions about me popped up and tbh it IS a bit disheartening that i got used to it.

for context,we were discussing how whenever i would build up a following on social media,it usually ends up with being an audience of mostly cishet men. after i get one too many creepy dms or so i usually abandon the account,starting over again.

cishet men look at me as this like quirky manic pixie dream girl who's a irl anime girl or sum just because of how i dress + my interests. im literally just an asian hyperfemme nb who is permanently stuck in the early 2000s. i keep trying to post fashion content but it always ends up with the same result of a majority of cishet men following me instead of my desired audience of only the gals,the theys and the gays.

im not even pandering to them,yet they sniff me out anyway. honestly i personally blame those white people trying their absolute hardest to look like a kawaii desu anime girl irl.

they've been going at it,absolutely performing the fuck out of the stereotypes. they encourage degeneracy and strive off it. profit from it too. it reaffirms the toxic mentality and affects actual asian people like me. these white people dress like us and proceed to simultaneously infantalise and sexualise themselves which makes people think that people like me do indeed behave like this.

honestly its disgusting and upsetting,but luckily more and more people are clowning these fools instead of eating them up like they used to. hopefully they will awaken to see that underneath all that eyeliner and blush is simply a scammer who just wants your money most if not all the time lol
