The dilemma from the excerpt of “The Tesseract”

I present this very simple picture collage of the two sides of the story. At the left half, presenting the Philippines wherein Manila Bay is located which is the central harbour of ships alongside with the famous magazine “Asiaweek”, there is a boy that I decided to color bronze to symbolize the stereotypical inferiority we are portrayed as Filipinos according to the story compared to the golden boy in the right half which represent the USA and its influence towards us, their modern western colonization through the western-branded food chains we are deceived to be very influential that gains there stereotypical superiority over us. 

But if we begin to think about, the social hierarchy built within our society is formed by no one else but us. We have the power to end this stereotypical societal ranking. Let your voice be heard. As a citizen and as a country, do not let otherwise diminish our worth.
