Finalmente gli artisti più gettonati del momento stanno per arrivare anche nelle regioni italiane, ed è tempo di godere della nostra musica preferita!
Grandi o piccoli che siano, i festival riescono a portare un bel mix di musicisti di altissimo livello...proprio come fa l' APOLIDE FESTIVAL che, arrivato alla sua tredicesima edizione, ospita dal 28 al 31 Luglio artisti indipendenti, internazionali e non.
Qualche nome?! Tra i nostrani troviamo Calcutta ( che se quest'anno non l'hai visto in concerto è meglio rimediare subito), Iosonouncane, Il Teatro degli Orrori, Cosmo, e tanti, tanti altri...ma anche per quanto riguarda l'estero non si scherza!: Is Tropical e Jain, per citarne un paio e non rovinarvi la sorpresa (Line Up completa nella foto ;) ), per un totale di 49 artisti che si divideranno nei 3 diversi palchi immersi in 100.00 mq di bosco del' lArea Naturalistica Pianezza Valfrè (TO).
L'esclusiva location dell' Apolide Festival dà anche la possibilità di rilassarsi non solo a suon di musica, ma anche grazie alle numerose aree ricreative, di lettura e ai diversi workshop che l'evento offre, e per chi volesse godersi il tutto al 100% può portare la propria tenda e soggiornare nell'area camping!

ArtVerona, now in its 11th edition, has exhibited the modern and contemporary art to the many visitors, paying homage to made in Italy and the Italian talents, without omitting the international artists, letting the visitors completely immerse in the art and understand the point of view of the artist, giving an unforgettable emotion estranged from reality.
We want to mention the South Korean Seug Hwan Oh, who presented his photographies with bacteria: the bacteria-rotten photography becomes life and consequently an evolving artwork.
On the other hand the bolognaise Giulio Cassanelli, relating to a Greek concept, “ kairos”, that means moment of opportunity or at the right time, has achieved his masterpiece with soap bubbles. He starts by making soap bubbles, while the bubbles float in the air he adds pigments and coloured inks to them.
Across the pavilions it is also possible to discover the acoustic and kinesthetic visual research of the artist Peter Vogel, born on the 1937, well-known for the connections between art and technology developed between the Sixties and Seventies.
In the Pavilion 12 you could find young Italian independent spaces.

ArtVerona giunge quest’anno all’unidicesima edizione mettendo in scena sia giovani artisti che galleristi affermati, sia arte moderna che contemporanea, cercando di rendere omaggio al made in Italy e ai talenti italiani, senza trascurare gli artisti internazionali.
Tra questi vogliamo menzionare il sud coreano Seug Hwan Oh che ha presentato le sue fotografie intaccate dall’effetto dei batteri, che prendono vita rendendo l’opera stessa in divenire.
Mentre il bolognese Giulio Cassanelli, rifacendosi a un concetto greco “kairos” ovvero il momento giusto o opportuno, ha realizzato la sua opera dalle bolle di sapone, alle quali vengono aggiunti dei pigmenti e degli inchiostri colorati durante il volo prima di posarsi su tela e creare dei giochi di forme stravaganti.
Percorrendo i padiglioni è possibile imbattersi nella ricerca acustica e cine-visuale dell’artista Peter Vogel nato nel 1937, noto per le connessioni tra arte e tecnologia sviluppate a cavallo degli anni sessanta e settanta.
Nel Padiglione 12 si è invece dato spazio a dei giovani artisti indipendenti italiani.

It’s less than a week left now to the music festival that is going to give a little freshness to the hot summer in Turin.Todays Festival will start on Friday 28th of August and will last 3 long days full of shows, events and meetings in some not so conventional places.

During these days we must expect to get into a dimension in which different music genders take the same street and finally get mixed in a unique sound. And that’s how it will be: there will be over 50 artist from electronic music, to indie to some real rock. Moreover there will be open public debates, so that everyone will be free to express itself, in suggestive and not so usual locations like “La Scuola Holden” or “Ettore Fico Museum”. Any name? Interpol, Tv on The Radio, Verdena, Levante, Linea 77 and many more!

Ormai manca meno di una settimana al festival che darà una vera scossa all’agosto torinese.
Il Todays festival infatti partirà venerdi 28 Agosto per regalarci una 3 giorni di concerti, eventi ed incontri, in spazi non sempre convenzionali.
Aspettiamoci quindi di immergerci in una dimensione in cui i generi musicali viaggiano su strade parallele per poi fondersi in un unico grido, perché è proprio così che sarà: il festival infatti spazierà, con oltre 50 artisti, dalla musica elettronica, all’indie, al rock più duro.
Sarà però anche ricco di meeting e dibattiti, per dare spazio davvero a tutti di esprimersi, ed il tutto verrà contornato da location particolarmente suggestive e non sempre usuali come La Scuola Holden o il Museo Ettore Fico.
Qualche nome? Tra i più noti ci sono Interpol, Tv on The Radio, Verdena, Levante, Linea 77…ma sono davvero tantissimi quelli da scoprire!
After the first album “Ambush”, that make them to share the stage with bands such as Choeed and Cambria, and right after their super cover “drinking in L.A.” of Bran Van 3000, they make the difference in 2014 during the competition “ REDBULL TOURBUS CHIAVI IN MANO 2014” establishing themselves on the top among over 1700 bands from all over Italy.

Aside - Hi Guys, tell us everything about the winning and about the Red Bull award
Michelangelo – Hi to you guys! To win the Red Bull Tourbus award’s been incredible, a very high level, music and professional experience that taught us a lot, and that we’ll keep with us forever. The prize was about recording and producing a single at London’s RedBull Studios and have a 3 dates tour on the Red Bull Tour Bus with Lacuna Coil!. The piece we chose is “Because I’m Sad” , and the production ‘s been splitted in two times : we first met Oliviero “Olly” Riva and Mario Riso at Rocker Studios in Milano to study the arrangement and to record most of the tracks, then we went to London to make the mix under the supervision of Brandon Harding. Marco Coti Zelati and Andrea Ferro , respectively Lacuna Coil’s bass player and singer, came with us and became “godfathers” of the contest sharing with us jokes, food and some super good music advices.
Aside - And what about the tour with Lacuna Coil?
Nicola : It’s been amazing! A Lot of people and a lot of competence, a magic experience in which we could touch for the first time a reality we didn’t know how really big it was. Now we are proud of our professional growth !
Lacuna Coil’s been godfathers and brothers, we were such a cool team.
Carlo Alberto – During the tour we also had the chance to know Cristina and Maus, that, like the others, are great music experts and travel friends! It was like we knew each other from a lifetime, but we knew that we were sharing the stage with an international band…so it’s been like being rockstars for real!
From this experience we are bringing home some audio and video that we can’t probably share hahhahaha!
Aside – Well, we’re not asking then!Let’s go with the next question: your last work “Mucha Lucha!” is out from the 9th of June.Why is it different from the pasts?
Michelangelo – The biggest difference from our first full lenght AMBUSH! Is that the songs in this EP were recorded in 3 different studios: London, Parma and Faenza. Just like Foo Fighters did for “Sonic”, in a bigger way. That’s why all the tracks have a different mood that comes from all of the different experiences we lived and the producers we worked with.
Aside – What about your future projects? Are you already working on something?
Michelangelo: Well we have planned some shows and radio interviews to promote “ Mucha Lucha!” but, since we don’t like to be with folded hands, we have already ready our second album, that we are very proud of, and that will be out in November. I Celeb Car Crash rockeggiano senza sosta dal 2012.
Dopo il primo disco, “Ambush”, che li ha portati a condividere il palco con band come “Coheed & Cambria”, e dopo l’uscita della super cover “ Drinking in L.A” dei Bran Van 3000, nel 2014 hanno fatto la differenza durante il concorso “REDBULL TOURBUS CHIAVI IN MANO 2014”, affermandosi fra oltre 1700 band provenienti da tutta Italia.
Qualche giorno fa abbiamo avuto il piacere di fare due chiacchiere con loro proprio a questo proposito, e non solo!
Aside -Ciao ragazzi raccontateci tutto sulla vittoria del contest e su premio Red Bull
Michelangelo : Ciao a voi ragazzi! Vincere il premio Red Bull Tourbus è stato incredibile, un’esperienza musicale e professionale ad altissimi livelli che ci ha insegnato tanto e che ci porteremo dietro tutta la vita. Il premio prevedeva la registrazione e produzione di un singolo presso i Red Bull Studios di Londra ed un tour di tre date sul mitico Red Bull Tourbus in apertura ai Lacuna Coil. Il brano scelto si intitola “Because i’m Sad”, la cui produzione è stata effettuata in due fasi : prima ci siamo trovati ai Rocker studios di Milano assieme a Oliviero “Olly” Riva ed a Mario Riso per studiare l’arrangiamento del brano e per registrare la maggior parte delle tracce; poi, una volta finita questa parte, è avvenuto il trasferimento a Londra per la fase di mix sotto la supervisione di Brendon Harding. Durante la trasferta londinese siamo stati accompagnati da Marco Coti Zelati ed Andrea Ferro, rispettivamente bassista e cantante dei Lacuna Coil, che hanno assunto il ruolo di “padrini” del contest e con i quali abbiamo stretto un ottimo rapporto fatto da un lato di scherzi,mangiate e partite a ping pong e dall’altro da preziosi consigli e trucchi del mestiere.
Aside- Ed invece il tour coi Lacuna Coil??
Nicola: Stupendo, un mare di gente, tanta professionalità, un’esperienza meravigliosa, speriamo non unica, abbiamo toccato con mano una realtà di cui non percepivamo esattamente la grandezza adesso siamo fieri della nostra crescita e del riscontro ottenuto. I Lacuna sono stati padrini e fratelli maggiori, eravamo un bel carrozzone.
Carlo Alberto: Durante il tour abbiamo avuto modo di conoscere anche Cristina, Maus e si sono confermati grandi professionisti e ottimi compagni di viaggio (e di pranzi/cene...da star male in senso buono!). Il feeling è stato da subito come se ci conoscessimo da anni e anni con la consapevolezza di condividere il palco con una band che all’estero riscuote molto successo...è stato come essere delle vere rockstar! Possiamo dire che da questa esperienze portiamo a casa prove audio/video (extra concerto) che probabilmente non possono essere mostrate liberamente in pubblico ehehe!
Aside- Allora meglio sorvolare e passare alla prossima domanda: il 9 Giugno è uscito ¡Mucha Lucha!, il vostro ultimo lavoro, in cosa si differenzia dai lavori passati?
Michelangelo: Sicuramente la differenza più grande con AMBUSH! (nostro primo full lenght) sta nel fatto che i 3 brani che compongono questo EP sono stati registrati in 3 differenti studi: Londra, Parma e Faenza. In piccolo e con risorse molto più risicate, quello che i Foo Fighters hanno fatto per “Sonic Highways”. Tutte e tre le tracce sono quindi accompagnate da un mood differente, figlie delle esperienze avvenute durante le registrazioni ed influenzate dai produttori con i quali abbiamo lavorato
Aside - E per quanto riguarda progetti futuri? C'è qualcosa che bolle in pentola?
Michelangelo: Al momento ci aspettano alcuni concerti ed una serie di interviste radiofoniche per promuovere ¡Mucha Lucha!, ma siccome non ci piace stare con le mani in mano, abbiamo già pronto il nostro secondo disco, di cui siamo molto orgogliosi, e che dovrebbe vedere la luce a novembre 2015. Direi che in pentola bolle parecchio, per cui ascoltatevi ¡Mucha Lucha! e fateci sapere cosa ne pensate sui nostri social dove potete rimanere aggiornati sul mondo CCC! Grazie!

The young duo composed by Andrea Asti and Stefano Gai is specialized in events, fashion and streetstyle photography, and they are ready to leave their mark!
Their debut collaboration was with the Milanese brand “Label 2″, by Alen Pinku and Andrea Popovic, who are boasting of having dressed Lady Gaga.
