Okay. Do you read fanfics? What's your fav? What's your otp?

Oh, my Dark Lord…. I do! I read fanfic when I’ve got the time. 

I don’t really have favorite stories, though, since what I want to read changes with my mood, which changes with the wind. Lately, I’ve been reading Drarry, Ronsy, some Snarry, some Dramione… Jily, Prongsfoot. The usual. Some of my fave tropes are Marriage Law fics (I have no idea why), and I do enjoy post war fics. 

Anything written by @thusspakekate, I will devour. So if you’ve never read any of her work, you should. Same goes for @asiriusfan (who does get busy, and sometimes takes longer to update, but that’s okay, because she’s definitely worth the wait).Trust me on this. Our old IDEQ Admin (and founder), is also a really talented writer, and I enjoy reading her work too! Check out @shayalonnie‘s A03 here!

I’m also really into this weird little fic called Haggis From Algernon and have been for ages. If you haven’t read it, and you like weird Jily, you should try it.

Thanks so much to ASIRIUSFAN for recommending this author to me! Her writing is stunning and she covers a lot of different topics and characters. Her stuff is mostly very angsty but I like it.

This story in particular gives snippets from the lives of several characters post war. Really nice. The Andromeda one hurts so much!!

Hey Stefanie, I'm curious - have you ever read anything by Lady Altair? If not, I think you should. Her writing style is much more like what I would read outside of the fic world, and it works for her depiction of the marauders so very well (especially Marlene) She's angsty and different and it's so real, I love her stuff so much. I'd recommend starting with A Gift Freely Given, Je Regrette Rien, and Defy - some of my favorites. :)

I have not! I will definitely check out her work. I totally trust your judgment and I look forward to an exciting new author to read!

I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE A NEW STORY FROM IZZI!!!!! I have always been a huge fan of her writing, and this is the first multi-chapter she's done in a while...and she got the idea from my blog! Someone submitted an ask asking me if I know of any fics in which James is injured or tortured and doesn't remember Lily - and Izzi ran with the idea! 

Anyway, the first chapter is very short but sets up everything perfectly. It's going to be a heartbreaker, I can tell. If you're not following her or this story, then you're dumb. 

I'll be adding it to my AU fic list, which can be found here (x). She will also be posting updates on her writing blog, illuminate-the-no, so you should follow her there as well if you get into the story.

Haha I actually posted it a few days ago! I follow you on ff.net so I read it when I saw the notification. I absolutely loved it…it is always nice to read fics from characters I don’t read all the time!
