In this AU, Lily Evans is a pureblood witch who was living in the Muggle world at a boarding school for her own protection. The story takes place in the 1940s, during both the wizarding war against Voldemort and World War II. Things with both wars are getting serious, and suddenly Lily must rejoin the wizarding world that she has been separated from for most of her life. She had attended Hogwarts until age 11, when she was placed in a Muggle boarding school. So far, only two chapters have been posted, so that's about all we know.
I really love the plot idea. I enjoy historical AUs a lot, and this is a really interesting one! I really want to know more about the characters and the situation going on in this story. It's also interesting to see that Lily's parents are a bit more reminiscent of the Malfoy family than the more canon idea of the Evans family. I like the interaction between Lily and James at the end of chapter 2 - Lily makes it clear to James that she can take care of herself, and I like that type of characterization for her.
That being said, this story a bit hard to follow. This story would benefit greatly from a bit of editing and a beta. Grammatically it needs some work. I'd advise the author to keep writing this story and keep reading and practicing. This is a really excellent AU idea and I know with some editing this story could be really great!
