you've probably answered this but what's your favorite book?
lol never on tumblr bambi.
Um, this might be a bit non-original but JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings series (which I read almost completely in less than 2 days before watching LOTR: FOTR in theatre and spazzing over it afterward) and the Anne of Green Gables series by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
I read the Anne series up until Rainbow Valley (chronologically speaking, it’s the 7th of 8 books) but I never picked up the final novel (Rilla of Ingleside) partly because it was centered on Anne’s youngest daughter while I preferred reading about Anne and Gilbert (her husband) and/or their family/friends overall and because it was set in WW1 and I didn’t want to end up heartbroken because of some character deaths.
(If anyone has seen the Sullivan Entertainment tv movies, please do not base yourself on the 3rd/last movie AOGG: The Continuing Story - while most fans loved the first 2 movies, the last one is completely different from the books, which has many of us fans raging btw. They basically took the characters and just wrote an original screenplay set in a different period of time instead of making an adaptation.)
