I have a question regarding Asmodeus. If Abaddon is over 750 or something, wouldn't Asmodeus be way older? Did Asmodeus exist before Abaddon was born? Or was Asmodeus just dormant for that long waiting for a host?

Asmodeus excited LONG before Abaddon was even born. After the Fall from Heaven, there was a civil war in Hell for who would become its ruler. Satan won, causing all of the other princes to become dormant. Throughout various points in history most of the princes woke back up, but Satan made sure that Asmodeus, his biggest competition stayed asleep.

When Abaddon (or rather Jeffery at the time) was born, a part of Satan latched onto him. This caused Satan’s power to weaken just enough for Asmodeus to wake up and escape hell. He naturally sought revenge, and what could be better than taking Satan’s throne while inhabiting the body of his half-human son?
