So, there's this book series called the House of Night series by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast, where Zoey Redbird, the MC, is "marked" and becomes a fledgling vampire. I was honestly more invested in this than in Twilight xD (there's no known movie or TV adaptation of this and I'd like that, just for the 16-year-old in me to be happy lol)
