"What jobs do you guys have?"

Emmet is quick to answer, energetic as always. Android and Lucille let him answer first.

"I still have my job as an construction worker! The city is still getting bigger and bigger, and my team and I go to other planets to help too! I'm also a TV host for The Emmet Awards and my own show where I interview celebrities or people from other worlds! Android helps me on that!" He's enthusiastic, pointing at his beloved who looked very proud of his own person. "I'm also a galaxy defensor, and I've been thinking on opening a bakery and a flower shop at one point! And I have a side job as an inventor. Pretty neat, right?"

Rex and Lucy give him approving nods.

He now looks to both of his lovers with excitement. Lucy rolls her eyes, funnily, wanting to be brief.

"I'm a popstar again because of these two. Adding to that, a galaxy defensor, an inventor too, and a teacher."

Both the systarian and the human look at the android. A toothy grin could be seen on their face, and Emmet was more than ecstatic. However, Lucy wanted him to do it already.

"Come on, do the thing."

"I don't know what you're talking about, Lucy." He says, teasingly.

"The card presentation thing! Come on!" Emmet begs.

"Stop that. That's such a cheap 2019 movement coming from me. I am a creative robot."

There's a silence for some seconds.

Some presentation cards appear out of nowhere.

"GALAXY DEFENSOR, ARCHEOLOGIST, THERAPIST, SCRIPT DOCTOR BUT I ACTUALLY SAVED THE SCRIPT, INFLUENCER, TV HOST, RAPTOR TRAINER, FIRST BASEMAN, DETECTIVE AND A LEGAL DOCTOR! WHO ALSO LIKES BUSTING HEADS, MAKING FURNITURE, BAKING AND CRY BECAUSE I LOVE MY FRIENDS TOO MUCH!"

Emmet claps his hands with admiration, meanwhile Lucy does the same, encouraging him.

"What can you expect from a Rex? And most importantly, from Android Rex Machete Ninja Star Brickowski?!"

So how did Lucy find out she's systarian?

"Someone actually asked! This one is for you, babe!"

"Oh...? Oh. Huh. What a first question, really...?"

"Are you sure you want to know? It's not... very interesting, thought. Kind of a dumb way to discover it, if you ask me. But, let me remember... Some time ago, I was looking for a way to get to know my origin, since I wasn't really similar to any of the humans in Syspocalypsburg. Eventually, I went with Watevra, in hopes that she would maybe know... and it appears that I was one of the first systarians that ever existed. And..."

Lucy looks up to her lovers who are listening to her quietly, expectful. She gets a bit flustered.

"Just that. The blue in my hands appeared after nothing happened."

"Oh, sweet tart, don't say that~ You know very well that's not how it happened. Let them know how cool of a gal you are, no need to be bashful, dummy."

"No. It isn't needed."

"Oh, c'mon, don't say that! Rex and I think it was really cool, even if you might feel a bit embarassed about it, they'll love to hear it!"

"Still..."

"Darling..."

Lucy looks away, trying to not get anymore nervous that she already was. Rex's cocky, yet loving smile and Emmet was expectant.

She sighs.

"Fine..."

"We were on a mission, meanwhile Rex was off with Sweet Mayhem to aid General ShockWave. Apparently some bounty hunters that worked for a guy were trying to kill Watevra and we couldn't just let that happen."

"You tell em, sweetheart!"

"However- even if we did beat the shit out of them, one of those bastards took Emmrt and threw him over the cliff. I couldn't just... restrain myself. I had to save him. I couldn't lose anyone else. So I jumped and... it appears that it was an "Act of True Love", as the Queen said that would happen if I ever got to wake up my blood. We couldn't master build our way out of that one since our arms were hurt, so exploding that is."

She takes a brief pause, looking how her spouses are seeing her with loveful eyes. She smirks, confidently.

"I took Emmet in my arms, we were covered in glitter, and I simply was... me. I discovered my blood for literally throwing myself without thinking just to save one of my beloveds. In other situations, that wouldn't have ended up well. But here we are."

"I can now legally become a woman who's almost 10 feet tall. Beat that, humanity."

They just love her so much.

Emsy, be honest, did you marry Lucille and Ando because they are tall and can get stuff off high shelves for you?

"Hey! Don't reveal my secrets out like that!"

Both of them give him a surprised yet "disappointed" glare. Emmet giggles funnily.

"You know I love you both!"

"Get yourself a stair the next time instead of getting into a ten year long marriage, Em. That's not cool."

"You two seemed to not have any compliants about it."

"Hey-"

"He has a point."

"Okay. You do have a point. Can't argue with wife."

So Ems, when did you start growing the beard?

Emmet is happy that you ask.

"Oh, well! Ever since Rex went missing for some months and I remained to grow it when he was gone in his sleep for six months. I wanted to see if a stubble would suit me, but... I just let it grow more and more. Rex doesn't have a stubble anymore, so, we can't really match... but Lucy and Rex say that they like it. It scratches their face."

They seem to be a bit embarassed.

What was the process of reviving Rex. He literally disappeared from the universe!.

"Oh! Well..." Rex starts to look at his two beloveds, trying to get them to start to explain that.

Lucille and Emmet catch on rather quickly.

"He did disappear, yes... or so we thought." The systarian says, a little vague, as The Special takes the turn to talk.

"Yes! His soul remained in our timeline. When he was still a Ghost, like, more than 10 years ago, his soul pieces were just wandering in Apocalypsburg! We... we were grieving for him, surely. It was hard to process the death of someone you got to love in a short time."

Emmet says upbeat, but ends up sounding much more sadder than expected.

"To be fair, I didn't want to come back. But Emmet and Lucy's wishes and hopes brought me back as a complete ghost. I got to them at 3am in their kitchen, and talked that out with them- after Emmet screamed for his dear life and Lucy tried to hit me with her hammer," Android continues, taking a quick breath. "And at one point, Emmet thought it was a great idea to bring me back to life with a robotic body. If we are being sincere, we know that, that wasn't his first method- an android body was much more suitable."

"We... ended up working for a body of his own for 5 years. It was a slow process but, we made it."

"Until he... well, once he tried to bound with his vessel, half of his soul was gone. He did bond with it. But he couldn't remember anything about who he was, or who we were."

Android is a bit melancholic thanks to this.

"But... I am complete now. So, the universe couldn't beat my ass even IF it wanted to. Don't think about it too much."

They seem to be a bit stressed.

My phone's an Android so when it powers up and says "powered by Android" I think "woah thanks Ando"

"I've got your back."

Any favorite foods?

"I'm a simple totally human man. I like hamburgers as a whole. They just bring a good nostalgic feeling to me... I couldn't treat myself at all when I was space defending as a human, and lost practice at cooking too, but they're my favorite ones to both cook and eat!"

"Waffle fries! But, that's more of a snack, maybe...? I very much love chicken and waffles though! With hot sauce even!"

"Hot sauce?! What has gotten into you?!"

"You know that I'm more of a sweets or a salty guy, but the spice is good too! It adds more intensity to it!"

Rex nods at Emmet's statement. Right. She forgot about that. Lucille is not a fan of spicy foods.

"Alright... well... I like a cheesy potato casserole. It brings back the very few and almost non-existent good memories of my childhood. And the way these two prepare it too... it feels like home."

Have you ever brought anyone else back using a robot body?

They seem to be preparing for a nap. So that explains their looks.

The question does put them to think. Android remains silent while they put their brain on thought.

"Well... Rex has said that he made some android in the past... but some of them developed their own souls, breaking their code and becoming their own person." Emmet says, while putting a hand on his chin, thoughtful.

"And there's others who never did but we don't know what happened with them. There's probably ghosts who found them and took their bodies... but we don't know that, yet again. Apart from our son, Mark..." Lucy seems a bit sad while explaining this. "Not really."

There's a bit of silence yet again... until Android speaks.

"... wait. Have you two saw Vitruvius these months? I know that he's... uh... you know. But he was a ghost and we saw him. But he hasn't appeared on a while now."

There was a connection.

But they don't realize it.

They just... missed him.
