hi! i really loved your game BCB, and let me tell you i have never EVER gnawed at such a game before because let me tell you most of my free time went into playing BCB, and it was AMAZING. okay, but like please hear me out, when i saw Aaron, i knew it was over for me. is there like any headcannons that you don’t mind sharing about him with being in a actual relationship with Cadence if he was datable? i’ll tell you mine!

I think Aaron gives cadence a lot more feedback on how she does when she’s conducting, and i also feel like when Aaron let her barrow the aloe, and asked for it back, it’s a inside joke that’s running now.

i love your game so much, IT JUST TICKLES MY BRAIN, it’s so amazing, all of the characters have me in a chokehold, i never had so much playing it. i hope you have a good day/night! and thank you so much for making BCB, you seriously don’t know how much you saved me. 🥹💕

As for Aaron...well...we did have a whole route planned out for him in the sequel, so I can share a little bit of that. It takes place during the following season after the final route and you would've chosen to pursue love (Aaron!) or money. You're right that he does give Cadence more feedback on her conducting, but he can be awful blunt about it so you can choose to tease him a bit or get it wrong just to annoy him. Then as vengeance during Homecoming he buys an airgram that loudly broadcasts to the stadium how you never get this one part in the show right and make sure you get it right this time because he'll be watching.

Care to share any Leon headcannons? 😌

Headcanons...? I am their GOD and I hold their FATE IN MY HANDS. These are no mere headcanons, these facts are CANON. >:)

One thing that didn't make the cut was Leon's older brother Buck who lives out in the woods with a possum named Beauford (Bandit's enemy). Buck is very PA backwoodsy. He's the reason Leon went to Pennsylvania, to try and help his lost cause brother get his life back on track. If Leon had a route, Buck would've played a role in helping them escape.

*squints at old notes* He also has a fear of trains because his dad would always try to beat the train when it was coming.

Wait...who are they choosing from? Just anyone? I think we all know who they'd wanna kiss/marry (well...one of them might not share the same sentiments).

Tom and Peter agree Cornelius is the most punchable kid in the band, but I think Clark wouldn't mind taking a swing at Peter if he felt a particular inclination towards violence that day. Poptart has probably wanted to punch Alex in the mouth at least once. Garth...Mr. Wiley or Mr. Savage.

I’ve been curious for a while, who do you ship the most with Cadence?

That's so hard, I love all their different dynamics. TTvTT I think years ago I answered Clark because I love rivals to lovers and tsundere used to be my favorite otome trope, but flirt has replaced it. I've always loved writing Cadence's chemistry with Peter, they're a very attractive pair and Peter scenes give me the most butterflies. And of course her and Tom go so naturally together, he always has her back and they're huge dorks together...CAN I SAY THREE WAY TIE?!

Haha I just called up the stairs to Alex "Who do you ship with Cadence the most?!" and she simply goes "Tom."

So there you have it! One essay and one clear answer. XD

I know Doug needing the brain would be the obvious answer, but me and Alex both thought Tom for Scarecrow cuz they just have that same vibe?? He makes a very cute scarecrow. Clark needing a heart is a given. Doug gets to be the lion because they're both big hairy guys with himbo energy who would crash through a window.

hi hii !!! i have such bad bcb brainrot ever since the game came out so i was just wondering if you guys had a favorite LIs just in general or ones that were your favorites to write, develop, etc etc yknow ?? I can’t tell if you have biases or not😭😭

AGHHH ANON that's like asking us to choose between our kids. But I'm glad you can't tell because I know I don't enjoy things where the author has a clear preference, or otomes where they make it clear one boy is more "canon" than the others, because I always wind up liking a guy more off the beaten path. We like to view them all as equally valid.

But to try to answer your question in some form...and there's no way I'll be able to just talk about one boy without complimenting them all...I think of the LIs my favorite overall character is Poptart. He's too adorable and my fellow mello and I loved writing his story. But we both love Tom and acknowledge he's closest to our IRL type. I also love Tom with Cadence...and I also love Clark with Cadence because I enjoy rivals to lovers and tsunderes (his final CG makes me cry the most)...and I really really enjoyed writing Peter's chemistry and banter with Cadence. And Sam I have a soft spot for because he's quiet and subtly savage and super relatable with his love of music. Garth and Doug probably grew on me the most. Garth, when we gave him more flaws and a darker side, and Doug because I fell more for the himbo trope over time. Doug was like the shallow meme guy at first, but really came together as we went deeper with him, and he's one of the guys who makes us laugh the most.

Sorry to go on and on, everyone needs some kind of yearbook superlative hahaha. We love all of them for different reasons. <3

Absolutely we do! There is stuff about Aaron we haven't shared that was planned for the sequel, but I still want to keep those cards close to our chests in case we ever do have the opportunity to do it. Thanks for the ask, though!
