What you think is the second head spine connection on mewtwo is?

I think it’s a subject of much internal conflict to Mewtwo

Mewtwo looked surprised here— did he just learn that he isn’t alone as a species, or did he already know about them but doesn’t know if they’ve managed to escape their creators?

Will we ever see those other two mewtwos? I’m really curious if they’ve been through the same operations as our Mewtwo and how they’ve been coping with that.

It doesn't know, and in the face of all it's done, the knowledge feels a little like failure

I don't plan on making the other two Mewtwo a part of the story, but 1) they haven't, this Mewtwo had it the roughest 2) I do have the smallest bit of idea on them

Hello! Hi! I cannot believe this bodeg a cat Mewtwo thing has only been a thing for a few days. I saw a post and scrolled through thinking this had been a thing for months cause its well built up. NOPE! 3 DAYS!

Anywho, I come asking this: E? What's the deal with E? I'd like to know more about E please. Cute but angry little thing. What's their deal? What do they do when they aren't placed in a void next to informative text?

HI THANKS!! And yeah I drew So Much in the last few days because I need to detress lmao. It helps that the setting is 4 years old so there's plenty to draw from

As for Rush the E, it's from a (frankly poorly written) comic I made way back, but then I got distracted with another character (my Nurse Joy guy and the kirlia comic) so I ended up not doing much with it

The tl;dr is it got pulled into this world by a little psychic girl and instead of coming to her to get out, it sticks around and harasses the person who smacked it with a broom instead.

Personality wise it's like a crotchety old man, complaining about all this new fussy polite battling thing and how youth these days have no sense of teamwork (not everyone can link their minds together into a vast and reality-changing consciousness...). And backseat battling.

It does get along well with Trubbish because absolutely everyone gets along well with Trubbish

Re. Bodega Cat MewTwo obviously we readers are overtly familiar with Mewtwo but what do the characters in universe know about it? Like, are people aware of what Mewtwo actually is or do strangers just assume it's like. A really sick Persian or something?

The average human shrugs it off as “huh never saw that animal before, looks like Psychic/Normal?”, people who encounter it more regularly (customers at the bodega, people in the neighborhood, ect) sees it as “that white kid’s pokemon that he’s having Ms Tan look after”

All the wild pokemon that can sense its power recognized that it’s Legendary-tier and potentially a threat. What they do with this information individually and collectively depends on the pokemon and their social groups

As for the characters in the story so far

Scita doesn’t even know how you spell Mewtwo or if it’s a nickname or a species name because they’re not paid enough to question

can you draw more giovanni your current art is DELICIOUS (maybe bless us with lance too)

I mean he probably gonna pop up from time to time but I don't want to get deep into his story, because people will inevitably ask about Silver and the other villains and I don't really care about those + it distracts from the Mewtwo

I do have one (1) drawing of Lance tho! It's for a piece on Champions and mentorship in the future

Can you tell I love slightly dressing down characters that are typically drawn in full costume as a humanizing tactic?

Ouuughh it makes me emotional imagining mewtwo just chilling with normal medical procedures even despite its history cause like,

yeah theyre still poking and prodding at it but this time the air is a little dusty, the lights are dim and flickering, there' a friend by its feet, there's people talking and milling about outside, and the doctor smells like cigarettes

It's easy forget how much our other senses contribute to memories rather than just simple sight and touch, and you communicate that so well :) let the psychic cat be happy and calm in a safe environment

That is one way to interpret that, but I was going for something a bit darker

You ever think about how Giovanni is a skilled trainer and more devastatingly, a cat person?

According to wikipedia, captive NA raccoons have a lifespan of over 20 years, but they only average 1.8-3.1 years in the wild

wonder how old is mewtwo? does mewtwo know how old it is? with all the medical records and etc surely at least the staff can tell, if not know... does it feel anything once feb 6th (we named it mewtwo day) rolls around? would the medical staff do anything for it or not (considering mewtwos complex relationship with existence and life)? celebrate? acknowledge? neither, like all the birthdays between?

idk had a lonely birthday awhile ago and been thinking thoughts

Mewtwo knows it's at least 30 years old (the constant sedation and medications made the first few...years(?) very fuzzy), and it knows its actual year of birth is written down somewhere, and it made the decision not to look

Kaleido knows, and therefore both Ela and Vanilla know too, but it's not relevant to its current state so they don't bring it up. It hasn't been here long enough for its birthday to roll around, but Ela at least plan on a gift of some sort. Vanilla is not sure she’s close enough to broach the subject with it, and Kaleido can't keep track of days well enough to consider birthdays important

As for Mewtwo itself, when the day does come...

I think the staff at the lab would have celebrated its birthday. They're only human after all. This doesn't make the crimes any better
