Carnelian buried himself in all the soft clothing and blanket while Sapphire not-so-subtly steals the cinderblock with a mischievous look on his face.

Looking down at his cup, he sighs. "Man, I wish this was alcoholic," he mutters before lifting his gaze back to you. "No, I don't love him. He was cruel and vile and all around a terrible, irredeemable piece of shit. But he made me think I did, and I think that's worse."

Carnelian sighs, rolling his eyes. "First of all," he says, raising his middle finger. "Fuck off. Secondly-" he lifts his index finger- "I'm doing fabulous, thanks for asking."

I would hurt all of the whumpers just to see their reaction tbh.

I would help Diamond and Sugar.

In the JB universe, a lot of the whumpers, especially the Jeweler, wouldn't exactly know why you were hurting them, because in their minds, they aren't doing anything wrong.

Diamond would very much like any and all help you could give to them, even though they're a pathetic, useless thing that can't help anyone.

Sugar would be reluctant to accept any help, but once he knew your intentions were kind and pure, he'd be very grateful and try to show you that.

headcanon: sensory deprivation would be a really awful punishment for carnelian (but would it be worse than unwanted intimate touch? if he had to choose between the two options, he’d maybe choose touch over deprivation?) 👀👀👀👀 - newbornwhumperfly

It would really be awful for him! At the beginning, he'd choose the deprivation over the touch, because he was still much more openly defiant, but as time passed, he would do almost anything to not have to go through the deprivation, including stomaching unwanted touches.

Fun fact for Carn and for Emerson

During the recovery arc, Carnelian can't wear orange or pink anymore and will start shaking uncontrollably, crying and begging if he sees that color clothing, especially pink.

Emerson's artistic career really took off after a painting of his went viral, and the painting was based off Emerald.

26. How does your oc sleep? Do they move around a lot? What position does your oc normally sleep in? What are their typical bedding arrangements like?

Sapphire tends to sleep pretty heavily, and he moves around a lot. He usually just has a blanket over him, but by morning it's kicked off.

Carnelian is a lighter sleeper, and he used to sleep spread eagle, but after captivity, he sleeps more in a curled up ball. He likes having multiple different blankets that pile up and surround him.
