Elliott gets about 7-8 and Devin gets about 4-5.

Elliott sleeps on his back and Devin sleeps on their side, in the fetal position.

Devin stares down at their hands with a frown, fingers woven together. "I- I want to kill him," they say softly, barely more than a whisper. "Wildre, I- I want to kill him. I want to put my hands around his neck and feel the life drain out of him. I want him to suffer the way he made me suffer."

hmm older oc - what would devin think of my oc? hes a grumpy asshole whos soft only around those he knows can’t fight back. he targets all his friends flaws because if he figures out all the “bad” in them he can justify running away or not trying to control his anger

Devin would definitely resonate with the whole "grumpy asshole" act, but they wouldn't appreciate him hurting his friends like that. They may not have very many friends, but they treasure the ones they do have, and it kills them to see other people mistreating their friends.

They frown, thinking. "Well, it was definitely while I was with Wi- Wildre." They stumble over the name, clearing their throat nervously. "He, um, hurt me a lot. It would either have to be when he, he stabbed my hand, or when he beat me at the, the end, there." Their hand gently rubs against the scar on their palm. "The beating was, objectively, worse, I think, but, but the hand, it really messed me up."

I actually think it would make Wildre pause and reevaluate his actions. He would see how terrified and broken he made them, and it would definitely at least make him pause the next time he went to hurt them.
