So clearly something real big is going on over in this fandom I love but am new to and I don't understand what the kerfuffle is, but whatever is going on I super, super enjoyed the storm of content you posted and found a bunch of new people to follow, so thank you very much for that.

Every once in a while, something (or someone) stirs the pot and the fandom rises from the dark damp depths of Life™ and Other Fandoms to toil around again. In the recent past (after the show ended) it was either someone talkin' shit, someone talkin' Py/ka or Jaime logging onto Twitter to bless the world with her snark.

These days, you can imagine, those things don't happen as often.

There are so many new folks in this fandom in the past couple years who don't know how chaotic this fandom can occasionally become. I just want everyone to know how rich this fandom is, has always been, and how many very talented and creative and hilarious and nice (and even asshole, you know who you all are) people have contributed to MAKING this fandom over the past nearing-thirteen years.

For the most part, we are all still here and active, even if in other ways and other places. We still keep in touch. I have met so many people in this fandom and hope to meet so many more in the future. I don't care how boring this tag gets, how old we all get (again, you know who you all are), or what y'all plan on doing with the rest of your lives, one of these days we're going to have our own little face-to-face party and you're all invited.

Until then, the party (and a wealth of fandom history) is in the tags.
