Sabine’s theme is absolutely beautiful, I think most people in general underestimate soundtracks/themes

Okay there is so much I want to say about Sabine‘s theme but I‘m bad at describing music.

It is literally just so utterly beautiful. It really gives you the opportunity to look deeper into her and see sides of her character we didn’t get shown before. In the show Sabine is always tough on the exterior and seemingly hides behind her art and being a weapon specialist of some kind. Many times characters like Kanan have a light problem with her through her stubbornness, which is one of the very common mandalorian traits she has. She obviously isn‘t in touch with her culture, suffers because of what happened between her and her family and carries a lot of grief, some kind of regret and fear with her. She doesn’t know how her family is, she suspected her father was killed by the empire for her actions. But on the other hand she seems very lively with the ghost crew. She loves them a lot and feels safe with these people similar to her, but still so completely different. Her theme shows us these sides and so much more about her. It is just all Sabine carries with her in one. The fear, the grief, the regret, but also the love she has for the people around her and the strong will she has to fight for what is right no matter what it takes. I probably missed out on a lot of things but Sabine‘s theme is so extremely beautiful and emotional to me. It‘s amazing and does everything it should for the character in my opinion. It makes me feel it all. I‘m sorry this became such a rant but this theme really gave me a lot of emotions. Thank you for your ask!

17. Are you a member of any clubs or associations?

I am! I am a member of the German Historical Society and of the East and Central European Historical Society.

18. Have you ever changed fields in your career or education?

Yes, I have! I did my bachelors degree (English and history) with the intent to go into journalism later, but changed my mind after working at the university's paper and interning at another.

26. Do you make a list before going to the grocery store or just wing it?

Honestly? It's about 60/40 wing it/make a list.

If I am making a specific dish I will probably make a list, especially when I don't just have the ingredients as a usual kitchen staple but most of the time I wing it 😂

6. What's your go-to recipe when you want to make something that requires minimal effort?

Cheesy pasta, and by that I mean just literal plain pasta that when cooked I add grated cheese to and stir till it melts.

I also add in like peperoni or chicken if I have some left.

It's what I used to make in uni when I was broke and at the end of my groceries for the week. Just comforting and warm

20. What's your favourite beverage?

Tea, no comparison.

It's warm. It's comforting. It just hits the spot, and that's before you even get into things like fruit teas.

34 - a place i wanna go on holiday (or places, i have many): Thailand (my sibling went there, and it seemed lovely from the pictures, so i'd love to (especially for the nature)), Iceland (again, the NATURE), Chile (a friend from my study abroad semester lives there, so it'd be so cool to visit her/travel together), roadtrip across the U.S. (grew up there, but barely traveled the States, and now I'm in Latvia. and i wanna see all my friends there damnit! i miss them :( and covid sucks)
