How do you feel about Lucy and her return? From what I gathered it sounds like she may not be your favorite.

Your not wrong, Lucy as well as Paulo just kinda “erks” me as characters. It’s no secret Lucy’s wrapped with textbook insecurities and co-dependency despite coming from a good home and so-so friends. But she dealt with it before and how she deals with it now is one step forward and two steps back. Roseville is her home, her first chapter of her life started their and her family lives their so she was bound to return, but how she rolls back not expecting fallout or rather how she deals with it is just back asswards.

I’ve said it before if you want to burn your bridges that’s fine and on you but you shouldn’t burn the people; lame or not you had some iota of friendship because I have a strong belief when it comes to forgive and forget that if you have the power to do it depending on how much you screwed each other to begin with, you have that responsibility to be the bigger person and do it.

As far as personal growth go’s Lucy’s as stonewalled than ever. Paulo ever the jumper just tries to get in on that and although she made her point at the fair, how she withholds her arrangement with Augustice and his previous history and just tells Paulo to shove it is just… dumb. She can easily explain how a dangerous sociopath with a axe to grind is involved and it’s just a case of quid pro quo would just clear all but she just doesn’t, that’s clearly not gonna note them all in the ass.

With the exception of Sue although it still seems wavering how she deals with Mike and Daisy is seems needlessly callus. Mikes efforts to make amends obviously needs more effort and less stalking, though he still makes the effort to all while again making good points about his faults she just has to throw it at his face along with the bird and continues to aloof and no less different then before she did the stalking. In Daisy’s case it is bothersome with her self loathing of her body image and trying to hook up, but again; Lucy somewhat being in the right, she can’t help adding salt instead of honey and causes a little more strife in this drama soup.

In the end other than her main faults it’s the same that go’s with everyone else, empathy. No one seems to place anyone in each other’s shoes and meet them halfway to truly make amends and even then they’ll just dump all to the next person they have beef with, if not again to each other next week cause it’s a drama comic in high school were their problems matter.

Same anon from a while back, I meant how do you feel about Paulo the character from BCB? Sorry if I wasn’t clear.

Paulo is not my favorite in BCB. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate him, there’s obviously worse people in the comic such as Scarface, he’s just kind of a douch-canoe. Barely gives effort in school would rather slack off or get his rocks off when he claims to be in love only to jump ship, bark is bigger than his bite and knows how to sucker punch but can’t take a hit all while being a total coward who I wouldn’t want watching my back, cherry picks between being a crappy friend, to being a “not so bad friend”. It’s times like how I believe violence is the last resort to any conflict is tested when how he constantly ribs on Mike that giving Paulo a face high five to a lunch table to cure his douche-baggery I felt was needed, seriously; he shits on his supposed “best friend” so badly it’s like your eventually gonna open a can of whoop ass; Mike knows martial arts and lets him get away with it! Here’s hoping a small dose of pain gives Paulo actual clarity on how not to pick your friends nose so hard.

I can’t choose I love them both equally but differently!

Dave is a huge source of inspiration and I always think of his work before I start a new piece! At best I can compare his style that of Joe Madureira AKA (Joe Mad) where they’re style combines western comic book and Japanese manga “even though Dave’s Australian” but still epic by the by!

Jesse art go’s a little beyond of surrealism and depth. Back when I was a young Gio at my darkest point. I came across ScHiZo a webcomic that helped me when no one else could’ve or even myself. All of his art is therapeutic to where even though I’ve come a long way with my psychosis, there are still times I have weak moments but a quick gander of his work, I’m instantly relieved... that’s something magical if you ask me!
