Hi, I've heard a lot about the Six of Crows series, and was considering reading it. I just wanted to ask if it would be better if I read the Grisha Trilogy first, and read Six of Crows after, as they're set in the same place and era. Or am I mistaken?

The Grisha Trilogy takes place a few years before Six of Crows (in the same world) and a few characters from The Grisha Trilogy are mentioned/show up in Six of Crows. But if you don’t want to read The Grisha Trilogy, then it won’t ruin SoC for you. I read SoC before I read tGT and it doesn’t change anything about the experience majorly.

I think Kitty separating in the end of qoaad is a great ideia. I think Ty is gonna go to the scholomance, and Kit maybe will go to the academy, or to live with Jace.

I think it’s going to end with ty and dru on the run from the clave after ty either raises livvy or tries and fails and fucks shit up, Or when Julian and Emma fuck shit up. And I think kit will have to stay with jace cause he’s a herondale and can’t associate with them anymore :( also I really like the idea of the protagonists being outside the claves rule in twp because we’ve never seen that before because the protagonists have always been somewhat working with the clave. And it’d be interesting if the way they meet up is kit is tasked with tracking them down or something….

Hey if Magnus loses his concept of time, what if he mistakes Alec for Will or something like that?

I don’t think it’s mistaking people for others? Like I don’t think that Julian reminds Magnus of Will I think that Julian was just there at the time that Magnus started remembering? If that makes sense?

Hetty, I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, but I don't understand why the Herondales are regarded as the heroic family. Yes, Will was a hero, but so was Jem, Gabriel, Gideon, Charlotte and Henry in the same amount. Jace was a hero, but so was Clary (even more if I may say), Izzy, Alec. James too, but probably so was Cordelia, Matthew, Anna. Its not like Will and Jace were the main heroes on the wars, it was the girls. And the Herondales had a lot of insignificant members in the family as well.

I honestly think that it’s more that they’re a big family through all the generations (not just the ones we’ve seen) but I agree, it’s a bit confusing considering what we’ve read but ???
