Rabbit shifter Ghost likes to be stuff on Soap's hoodie pocket even if he won't fit. Soap ends up getting one of jumpers with a cat pocket to accommodate this.

Maybe a clear bag some cats travel in to keep Ghost contained when needed.

Ghost, being a Flemish Giant, does not fit in Soap's hoodie pocket, to his own dismay. However, when Soap steals a hoodie from Ghost, one that's oversized even on Ghost himself, and has just a huge front pocket, Ghost can't help himself. He shifts mid sprint, after having spotted his favorite hoodie on his favorite Sergeant across the training field. Goes from running full tilt to hopping at the speed of light. A grey streak, cutting the field in half. A missile, lazer guided and target locked. The target: the pocket of that hoodie.

Soap barely has time to brace himself after spotting the gray blur approaching out of the corner of his eye at mach Jesus.

Ghost's aim is true, he leaps, front paws catching the hem of the pocket and pushing it out of the way enough to stuff himself into. His head pops out the far side, ass, and feet stopping him from shooting straight through because he's a thick boy. His momentum, being a 20 pound (10 kilo) ball hurtling towards Soap like a meteor, yanks Soap off balance and he fails wildly and careens forward whilst trying to catch his balance again, so as to not squash his damn Lieutenant.

The soldiers Soap had been lecturing were stunned silent.

Soap had no way of knowing the hoodie he'd stolen was Ghost's designated digging and tunneling hoodie, that he owned it specifically so that he could stuff himself into the pocket. What he did know, now at least, was that he would be stealing this particular hoodie every chance he got.

Soap did not address what had just happened. He straightened back up, cleared his throat, and went back to instructing. Ignoring the rabbit chinning the hem of the pocket, or his hand when he went to pet him.

The soldiers, to their credit, also remained silent about the bunny butt, feet stuck out backwards and tail flashed high, sticking out the other end.

Soap later found himself on Amazon looking at the hoodies designed to carry cats in, desperately checking reviews to make sure they could handle an extra large cat (or in this case, rabbit). He may have ordered himself several of them.

Angy bunny thumps from ghost?

Oh yeah. He thump. Both before, and after everyone finds out he's a rabbit, but once they know he absolutely leans more into his bunny instincts, and the thumping happens so much more.

Minor inconvenience? A quick toe tap. Easy to miss. Actually aggravated? A stamp of his foot, could easily be mistaken for him just shifting his weight. Getting testy? Soap gets this one a lot for bothering him before he's had his coffee in the morning, he will pointedly lift his foot up high and stomp. Hard. Once, after being given absolutely ridiculous orders from a Major he had no respect for whatsoever, Ghost placed both hands on the desk in front of himself, and lifted both of his legs off the ground to slam them both down together. The room went silent. Ghost was fuming. The Major feared for his life. So did most of the rooms occupants. Soap could've laughed, but he was too busy making heart eyes. Ghost's shirt had ridden up and his fluffy bunny tail had slipped out. Gaz did laugh, and found himself spit-shining the windshields of all vehicles in the bay that evening. Price sighed and rolled his eyes in anticipation of the paperwork he was going to have to fill out later, once the Major felt safe enough to write Ghost up.

Bunny ghost anon again, with a slightly more normal but not really idea, where one of the things that tips Johnny off to Ghost’s species is the amount of greens he goes through. This is a man Johnny has found at 3am, shoveling arugula into his mouth from the bag. No salt, no oil, no dressing. And it’s happened more than once. You’d think a man as beefy as ghost would be an absolute carnivore, but Soap knows better than most that leaves can translate into the plumpest bunnies. So he goes on the ever-so-subtle mission of finding Ghost’s Favorite Leaf. Different lettuces, bok choy, spinach, watercress, parsley, cilantro, basil, blackberry, raspberry, mint, fennel. Ends up with a whole garden on base trying to keep his favorite rabbit well-fed.

I love this so much, but I'm gonna approach it a bit differently.

Once Soap finds out Ghost is a bunny shifter he's initially shocked, and then appalled. He's seen Ghost eat. (How the hell he ignored the buck teeth, which should have been his first sign, he'll never know.) He's seen Ghost eat meat. That's not good for him. Wild rabbits have been known to eat meat when food is scarce, but that's when things are dire. No wonder the man was so lean.

That just wouldn't do. Soap made it his mission to correct Ghost's appalling diet. At the next meal, he found Ghost in the mess, a tray containing eggs and bacon in front of himself. He was about to dig in.

Soap swipes the tray away. Thump. Ghost is not pleased. "Sergeant. That's my breakfast."

"You're an herbivore."

"I'm hungry. Don't make me make it an order, give me back my food." Thump. Soap takes off running.

He runs into the kitchen, rips open the industrial fridge, and grabs a head of bok choy. He whips around to find Ghost bearing down on him, absolutely about to beat his ass, fist raised, and he thrusts the veg into Ghost's chest.

Ghost... examines the food... takes a bite... humms a bit... and backs down. Soap very nearly died, and damn was it worth it to see the softness overtake Ghosts features.

Soap gives a list to Price, of all the things rabbits can eat, who gives it to medical, who puts in a request for the kitchen staff to start offering vegetarian options at every meal.

There's a garden on base after that. Soap tends to it. Sometimes finds his Lieutenant stealing from it.

"Hey, get out of my fucking garden!"

"I'll shit in your fucking garden!"

Which wouldn't actually be a problem, rabbit excrement makes excellent fertilizer. It's the principle of the matter.

Um.. soap bringing dandelions to bun!Ghost?👉👈

Soap would absolutely bring Ghost dandelions.

He frequently brings bundles of weeds and wildflowers, bouquets if you will, to him, or leaves them in vases in his office.

It's always a treat for them both when he brings the big bunny his flowers. Soap loves to see him perk up, he'll let his obnoxiously long ears out (they'll have modified his mask with little holes so he wouldn't have to take it off) and Soap will have to fight not to grab them, or the short fluffy tail he knows is protruding from Ghost's lower back.

Ghost loves a good meal. He's starting to enjoy being taken care of. More than anything though, he loves the faces of anyone who was present when Soap brought him flowers. Because if they don't know he's a rabbit, and he hasn't let his ears out, they're always baffled beyond believe when instead of smelling them he takes a large bite out of them.

Imagine as well, Roach, working away at a dandelion flower crown for each member of the 141, very proud of himself, only to watch on in stunned silence as Ghost removes Soap's crown and starts eating it. No one told him how much rabbits like dandelions.

So I was talking with my partners about my bunny hybrid OC, and I dropped this gem.

‘Price just lets it happen, because what is he gonna do, go against the overly protective bun?’

And now all I'm thinking of is Price letting Bunny!Ghost do whatever when Soap's being dumb/hurt/dying because he doesn't want to be on the other end of Ghost's rage.

Price already let Ghost get away with a lot, admittedly. But when he finds out the man is a rabbit shifter, it's out of his hands.

Rabbits, especially those born does like Simon had been, are furiously territorial. If it's the wrong season, they'll rip a male apart for approaching their territory. They're specifically equipped for digging burrows, and those claws come in handy for defense, those teeth too.

It's a sight burned into his mind, a half shifted Ghost covered in gore, claws on the ends of his fingers with viscera clinging to them, blood soaking out from under his mask because his cheeks are covered in some other man's blood, emerging from a battlefield cradling an unconscious Soap. He'd been out numbered 1000 to 1, and yet he was the only one to walk okay from the destruction.

So yeah, Ghost got a way with a lot before, but after reading a book on rabbit behavior he'd nabbed from the library and learning about how downright nasty they could get, he wasn't willing to risk life and limb to prevent bunny Ghost from ripping their enemies apart to get to his boyfriend Sergeant.

Nor was he willing to get in the way while Ghost checked Soap over, or held him close to hear the other man's heartbeat, to be absolutely sure he was still there.
