where’d you get the name Azzedine from? what does it mean?

It's a North African name meaning "glory of the faith" ^.^ since I hc him as being mixed Maghrebi, I liked the idea that his "true name" was one reflecting his mother's homeland (though I hc he has a Kalosian name as well)

What would yamAZk look like as a hypothetical Cofagrigus? I imagine he(she? Only just discovered the au today beg pardon) would look very regal.

I hc AZ as any pronouns but preferring she / they / it jsyk ^.^ Anyways! I did doodle the concept before but I'm not including it here because I feel like I could do something more interesting 🤔 honestly rather than a traditional Cofagrigus it may be fitting to do something based off a bronze age funeral urn, or if I wanted to do something really crazy something pulling from the design of Floette's coffin in the past... When I have a good idea of what this would look like I'll come back and draw it again, so sit tight...! ^.^

(Tbh, my mega YamAZk design is what I had originally intended as a hypothetical evolution. The difference is that the evolution design would have been sat in a throne, but I couldn't get the throne to work when I tried drawing it 😔💔)

I feel like AZ would either love or hate kirby triple deluxe specifically for the same reason as eachother. If I had a nickel for every time a series made their first entry on 3ds have strong themes about beauty and flower motifs, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't alot but weird it happened twice

Screaamm yeah he would definitely feel some kind of way about Sectonia and her goals... I personally think he would like it but that's partly because I think he would like and relate to Taranza in some ways after learning what his deal is-- always seeing himself in characters who would do Anything for love, for better or for worse (though sometimes this feeling grows into resentment, too. Count Black spm would make him sooooooooo uncomfortable because they're the exact same kind of guy 🥹 he even has his own Nastasia (looks at Nerine))

No idea why it decided to have a random Ogerpon Appearance 🥺 but yes you're right he has no Bulbapedia page and the tcg manga (afaik) has not been translated into English because as you can imagine it's pretty obscure (though very easy to find and read, it's at the bottom here)

I've just been extrapolating what he's like from Guestimating and using the auto translate feature. He's a retired TCG champion and runs a shop selling card game packs (which in my mind I like to imagine he runs a general anime merch store), he likes mentoring the youths but he's very pushy and very Physical, too. The key he wears around his neck is his house key. He wears a seaking hat pin because it's a pun on Azumao being the jpn name for seaking 🎏

I like to interpret him as "AZ if you removed the 3000 years of trauma and gave him several new, exciting mental illnesses" ^.^

Or if theres no complete lore to them, particular design themes?

rn there's no specific lore attached for Most of them, though there's a couple that I do have a small story for, like Jedda and L's second kid, Morrigan, is a knight on an futile quest for revenge, and Prospera and Flavio's kid, Noel, is a half dragon who inherited their mom's lazy and petty personality 😭

When it comes to their appearances I'm honestly just thinking about how best to combine the features of the parents and, and if they have siblings I want some sense of cohesion :~)

The granmyra babies all read as being spooky little ghostly kids you'd see in a horror movie, so the first two are a creepy twin duo (in my mind...) while the newest girl is a little vampiress 😭 so I tend to dress them a bit more gothic.

And then with my space goddess, Allura, her first daughter ended up very "human" in appearance despite one mom being a cyclops and the other being literally blue, so I wanted the second daughter to look a bit more alien and so I gave her blue skin and a third eye as well ^.^
