Hiiiii this is @vestigesofperversion and I’m just wondering how you make your gifs, specifically your Critical Role gifs? I just started and it takes me one million steps and a payment to imgflip, plus I have to wait until episodes are up on YouTube, and even after all that the quality looks really poor. Any advice for a fellow critter? Please and thank you!
I mean mine look pretty ugly, but here’s what I do:
1.) Download the video from Youtube2.) Use KMPlayer to make screencaps of the bit I want to gif.3.) Load the screencaps in GIMP4.) Add some brightness and contrast to the screencaps5.) (Add text where needed)6.) Convert to indexed color7.) Export as a gif
