Joseph: Absolutely. You know, I’d actually love to discuss with others what it’s like living around here.

Joseph: A what?

Mary: An ask thing! Where weird fourth wall people ask you things! Just turn to the fourth wall and introduce yourself! They’ll send you letters! Sometimes other participants drop by, I’ve heard!

Joseph: How do you know this?

Mary: I love gossip, I said.

Joseph: Well, here goes nothing. Send me letters, people! I’d love to talk to you!

For the Anon/The Father Preaches

At times it may feel as if the world is closing down around you. Everything becomes difficult to handle and sometimes we feel as if we are drowning. I know this because I have felt this way many times myself. In cases like these you must always remember to keep fighting. Life will not always be enjoyable, but the hard times do not last forever. You can create your own purpose and choose to live for Eden. When you are down and stuck in a rut, I will lower a ladder to help you out. When you are lost at sea, I will toss you a life preserver and bring you ashore. Here you will always be accepted and loved and cherished in my flock.

Look all around you. We are everywhere, thriving as a community and sharing the things we love most with each other. When I am not available, your brothers and sisters exist to ease you along when you require such a crutch. Do not hurt alone. Do not hide in the darkness. This is where sadness lives and it grows like a disease, ready to poison the hearts of saints. But it cannot get to you if you do not let it. Cast the darkness aside. Find the light and become like the Angel you once were. Even if it is small at first, hold it close. Hold it to your heart and let the flame rise inside. Remember what you have and learn to cherish it. Do not succumb to GREED and ENVY. You do not need what others have. You need to love who you are because you are already special. 

Each and everyone of us. We live and breath as we are and that alone is beauty in and of itself. Find that uniqueness. Focus on it. Allow it to grow. When you nurture these things that you already possess, you will find your outlook on life becoming far more positive. The Path becomes clear and, in the end, you will see the light and pass through the Gates of Eden.

I think I'm very...alone right now. I was distracted from my blog for months, stringing myself along a little too tightly. I haven't been able to sleep and Robert has been gone for a few weeks.

What sort of translations does Joseph work on? What are his favorites or sort of dream projects?

"I take projects that involve translating game scripts, mostly. Sometimes I translate manga."

"But NOW... Some people are GREEDY and would rather use AI to translate shit FOR them."

"Some favorites... I mean, there was this one manga I translated. It was about two dudes, romance bullshit."

"And a dream project... Man, that's if I manage to even stay here long enough and get my portfolio straight. I have, like... 1 or 2 years left on my work visa. I'm not sure if my actual full-time job is enough to qualify me to be a permanent resident... So, no dream projects as of now, I guess."

least favourite season and why?

"Racism, for the most part...? People are pretty mean to foreigners here. Hell, I struggled finding a place to stay for a good while after leaving my host mother's house."

"I have met Chibita on my way home one time... After that, I started eating there after hard days at work. I like eating his oden to de-stress and pig out. He listens to me ramble, and I listen to him sometimes."

"And winter. I hate the cold. I can barely take baths or get to work without freezing my nuts off."
