(Veraforgottenheart) “Hello Joseph, welcome to the manor. What would you say is the most interesting thing you witnessed survivors do? Personally I find them all to be kind of annoying and stuck up, but I suppose they can be funny.”

Joseph: Hello Vera! A lot of them I find to be quite stuck up as well. They think their sooooo smart. But once I hit them while vaulting, they don’t look as smart.

Joseph: As for your question, I could answer this many times over. I’d have to answer with this one time Mr. Valden was painting a portrait of me. I know it’s his form of distraction, but it just looks so wonderful! He captures my image perfectly!

Joseph: Back to the story! He was almost finished. Mr. Campbell was keeping me distracted so he could finish. Suddenly, Mr. Valden stops running.

Joseph: I finally injure Mr. Campbell to the point he can’t continue to harass me. As I’m waking up to Mr. Valden, he grabs the painting and throws it to the ground with a scream, stomping on it.

Joseph: I have to admit I was taken aback. I didn’t hit him. I just stood there. Mr. Campbell appeared shocked as well. After a few moments of silence, Mr. Valden said “What are you looking at? Just hit me. There was no point in showing you that. I would have been insulting us both.”

Joseph: Mr. Campbell then stood up, and cautiously walked up to me. He noted that I wasn’t attacking, and hid the broken painting in the corner behind a wall. We all noticed Miss. Gilman running up, and Mr. Campbell and I stared acting as if nothing had happened. Mr. Valden continued acting distant to the others the rest of the match. I did eliminate him and Mr. Campbell that round, but I’ve been paired against them after that as well. No allusion to that incident.

Joseph: I’m curious as to what exactly was going on mentally. I understand getting frustrated when a photo doesn’t turn out well, but I have to admit, his behavior was a tad unnerving at the time for someone usually so confident and calm.

Joseph: Right in front of me! Sometimes the survivors are quite interesting. Their conversations I walk in on during games get juicy.

Mary: Oh, I just love gossip.

Joseph: Absolutely. You know, I’d actually love to discuss with others what it’s like living around here.

Mary: You could open one of those ask things!

Joseph: A what?

Mary: An ask thing! Where weird fourth wall people ask you things! Just turn to the fourth wall and introduce yourself! They’ll send you letters! Sometimes other participants drop by, I’ve heard!

Joseph: How do you know this?

Mary: I love gossip, I said.

Joseph: Well, here goes nothing. Send me letters, people! I’d love to talk to you!
