What sort of music do you think the LIs listen to?

Hi, Nonny!

Well, we know Sylus listens to classical and oldies, and we know Zayne listens to metal and alt. (I do also feel like this actually fits what we know about the characters, too.)

Caleb is caught up on all the latest pop songs - 100% was making people train to Soda Pop over the summer because it was constantly stuck in his head.

Xavier feels more like an R&B guy to me - the slower and smoother song styles fit him.

Rafayel...Rafayel is tricky. He has a broad range, I think, as one must to be able to sing opera and dance like he did in the latest memory. If he were in charge of the radio, however, I think he would lean more into things with a heavier base - things like KPop, yes, but also I think he would be into dubstep and trap because of the constant rhythmic change ups.

Hi, lovely, unfortunately I don't. I wish I did, and I hope she is doing alright.

Maybe one day, if we're lucky, she'll come back. (I miss her, too.)

I love your writing so much and I read already gone at least once a week. It got me thinking how would sylus respond if he had found us and we asked him ‘would you still be here if she had chosen you?’. I know there isn’t going to be part two and the story is already perfect as it is. I’m just curious. It’s okay if you don’t want to answer this.

So, fun fact...I have actually written a part two. I hurt my own feelings enough I had to fix them. 😂 I just haven't posted it. However, it doesn't really address your question.

A question I really like, by the way, because I do think it's important; it would show Reader's confidence in their own self worth, right? Are we comfortable with being the second choice? Are we okay with what happened in the first place and how long it took for him to even notice?

Now, personally, I believe Sylus would be honest with his answer, especially if we were close with him before.

My thoughts would be he would have hunted Reader down, eventually, because he would have wanted the important things in his life to meet...or that's what he would tell himself. I think it would be hard to know unless you were in the moment.

That's a very long winded answer to say, I think he would wish the answer was an easy 'yes' for him, but I don't think it would be.

Honestly debated if it was worth figuring it all out. I did join in the middle of a multi banner and the one year anniversary so there were a lot of moving parts and for the first couple months I didn't know heads from tails. 😅

Ah...I have a few Sylus photo cards I got with a sticker order (grumpy crow stamp stickers), and I have a grumpy crow shirt with Sylus' signature on the sleeve. 😅

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIII i too have 2 questions for you! :DDDD

you're going a vacation with Sylus and you're looking through trip activities to do together (and you have to pick one of these), which one are you picking: scuba diving or bungee jumping? And why? :3

stealing your question because I too am very curious about your answer to this one: What are you proud of, but never have an excuse to talk about?

HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII - happy to answer them! 🥰

Scuba diving. 100%. This is in part because I'm terrified of the bungee snapping (although I'm sure if it did with Sylus, we'd never hit the ground lol.) But also, I really love the ocean and would like to see more of it.

Hmm...I had to sit with this one for a minute, because I feel like the things I'm proud of are small? Or may seem small to others, but were, like you mentioned, things I had to do when scared, and big for me. + Moving to Boston for grad school - I had never properly lived on my own before at that point, and I was moving across the country. It was big, it was terrifying, and it helped me finally find myself. + Quitting teaching - the whole point of me moving to Boston in the first place. I tell most who ask that this was because of Covid cracking a broken system wide open and, partially, it was. But, truthfully, it was finally admitting to myself that I never started this profession because I wanted to. I was good at it, yes, but there was a lot of pressure when I was graduating high school of what was expected of me. It took me too long to realize I could've said no. So...I finally did. + Getting back on proper medication. Look...this one is a weird one to talk about, and it's still hard for me to. I don't like having to depend on it, and I was very convinced that I could just...unlearn my issues and be done with it. (Also had a very awful experience with meds and a previous doctor we will not dive into.) My therapist and my husband were the two people that I told, "If I start getting to this dark place, you have the right to tell me I have to get back on them." I got to a dangerous spot. I, very begrudgingly, followed through when both told me it was time. (Had multiple sessions, too, over why I felt medication meant I had failed and those were r o u g h.) And, yeah, they were right. And I'm better for it. But the fact that I stuck with it and no longer feel like it's this weird stigma of failure? That's really what I'm proud of.

Physical - his arms. I SAID WHAT I SAID!!

Emotional - does sarcasm count as an emotion? I feel like it should count as an emotion. If it doesn't then it's the sheer adoration on his face every time he really looks at us.

Weirder Asks Game

14. Do you love the smell of earth after it rains?

Petrichor - ah, yes. A beloved smell that always brings me a feeling of comfort and of home.

18. What hair products do you use?

I use Pantene for my shampoo and conditioner, but I also use 'It's a 10 Miracle Leave-in Plus Keratin' because my hair is now much drier than it used to be, and it needs the extra oomph.

27. About how many hours of sleep did you get?

Uh...depends on the day. A good night, 7-8. Realistically, 4-5. 🫣 I very much suffer from the 'I'll stay up late to reclaim the alone time I did not get in the day' mentality. Even when I know it'll kick my ass in the morning.

40. Did you have any snacks today? (if not pls do! ♡)

I have not, but I did have a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiig breakfast, so I've been full the majority of it. When I do, usually it's a handful of stars or a Oikos drinkable yogurt! (Preferably the strawberry banana 😋)
