Pride Prompts

I've got a busy week ahead, but, I miss writing.

With a little time left in June, send me some short prompts for stories celebrating Pride!

I might be slow to finish them all, but, I am excited to see what you all can come up with!

how would you recommend inexperienced people learn boundaries / how to approach/message/flirt with people online? any youtube channels, books, articles, etc?

ooo thanks for asking! i also grew up in the south with abstinence only sex ed lolll so i get where your coming. heres some tips:

dont forget tumblr manners. stangeons has a video of how to interact with people on tumblr, and i think thats a good guidline to go by.

read their bio and boundaries list. if they dont have a boundaries list (like me) its probably becuase they arent looking for new play partners, or they only wanna play with people they have been talking to for a bit.

as far as kink education goes, katt blaque and evie lupine are great intro channels.

dont be afraid to say "hey im sorry, did i make you uncomfortable?"

follow the golden rule!!! ask yourself "how would this make me feel"

do not jump immediately into cnc stuff unless they specifically say they want threats in their inbox.

"hey i love this post on your blog, i have the same fantasy" is a much better opener than just "hey"

the Jonsa plot-bunny has striken once again... so, yes, I guess... await for another story coming soon whilst the new chapter of LWITD seems to be stuck on the new POV.

Gonna write the first chapter real quick and put in the "Stories I can't get out my head”, maybe it will help write it out of my System for a while.

-They met at the endgame premiere after party

-They got to talking about their careers

- “You composed the music?! That’s so cool!”

-“Yeah! It was really incredible to work on such a big project!”

-“I don’t know much about composing, tell me about it!”

-They sit and talk about their jobs for like an hour and a half

-She plays several different instruments to help her write music

-He thinks it’s the cutest thing ever

-They always watch movies together and he pays attention to the acting and she pays attention to the music

-they make each other playlists

-she composed some of the music for Far From Home So Harrison goes with her as a plus one

-Tom getting offended that Harrison isn’t going with him

-“Sorry Tom. But my girlfriend is just prettier than you.”

-She always runs a piece by Harrison when she’s done with it just to make sure it portrays what she wants it to

-“Babe. What does this piece remind you of/ make you feel”

-She once wrote a beautiful song for a movie but it ultimately got cut

-So Harrison arranged for it to be their first dance at their wedding as a surprise

-She writes a lullaby for each of their children when the time comes

🔥 It’s not Gwyn doesn’t have temper tantrums, but more of that he’s so good at disguising or getting rid of them. For an indentured servant such as him, especially in a place full of wealthy and affluent people, anger isn’t a thing he can afford to have. 

But what really gets his blood boiling? Not his humble origins nor his quasi-status as a slave, but witches or healers who don’t take their job seriously. He takes great pride in his medical profession and places his patients’ health and safety above many things. To have his job treated as nothing more than a way to get prestige or money? To turn away patients because of their economic/social state? Sacrilege. To him, those kinds of people are the scum of the earth. But he has to keep it in. He has to reign in his anger, because one call to the right people could be enough to get him fired and kicked off to the streets.

He does a lot of rants and inner monologues to help calm him down. Usually envisioning the object of his hatred and venting all of his frustrations is enough to extinguish his anger, though a quiet place to just relax is good too. He doesn't take out his anger on anyone. Especially family. But then again, he doesn't really have one of those.

🦋 You’d think a man like Sola would have a lot of regrets in life. Funnily enough, if he had the chance to change anything, he wouldn’t. His life hasn’t been all sunshine and rainbows. For the majority of it, he’s been scraping and slaving away for any little thing he could get. He’s lied, stolen, and killed his way to survival. Changing the past would only invalidate his struggle and the sacrifices he made.

Babysitting Week

It's a new week, so it's time for a new theme for asks!

September is back-to-school time in my neck of the woods, which means busier schedules, new routines, and caregivers struggling to work in that time for themselves that they really need.

That's why babysitters are so important.
