Hi ladies, one of my rats passed away a few days ago but im stuck in another country due to covid so I didn't have the chance to say goodbye to her. Is there any chance i could get a hug? 😞

i believe this is the thread in question? i had a look through and attempted to translate through a mix of google translate and my own very minimal japanese knowledge. there may be an error or two in here (and i apologize if there is), but i think it mostly came out alright

these answers come from rie, metronomik’s business development manager who worked on the japanese localization of nsr, as well as game director wan hazmer’s wife. i can’t find a link to the stream where this took place, so hit me up if you know where it is!

DJ SUBATOMIC SUPERNOVA:

- DJ Sub is apparently a human, and he “seems to be warm” according to Rie. Another twitter user posted the question for this one, which specifically asked if he had warm hands.

- DJ Sub abandoned his professor career on his own initiative. He quit the job because he couldn’t convey what he wanted to convey, rather than being fired.

- Rie describes DJ Sub as not always on the side of “being made to do things,” meaning he’s more likely to do what he wants rather than what he’s told to do.

- Rie also says that always choosing for yourself is a strong character trait.

1010 AND NEON J

- J1 is the name of the company that develops 1010.

- Rie says that 1010/Neon J have an ass plate because “it’s sexy.”

- 1010 and Neon J were not originally designed to be parent and children.

- Neon J’s fur collar is an accessory and can be removed.

- Related to the above answer: Since Neon J is a cyborg and not a robot, he can take his clothes on and off.

- Neon J’s turtleneck is made of cotton.

These next answers are a bit out of context, as I don’t have the questions that were asked to get these answers, but I did try to guess. If anybody knows what the actual context to these is, please feel free to dm me!

- “Take off the white jacket and start a new life!”

I think that the question might have been something like “what would Neon J do if he wanted to leave his military past behind/didn’t want to be a captain anymore” or something like that. This apparently also confirms that Neon J’s jacket is removable.

- “Daim [Dziauddin] knows that everyone is drawn with no sleeves, but it’s actually long sleeves.”

I think this one might also be about Neon J’s jacket. “Neon J’s jacket is removable” is apparently canon now, but his model doesn’t really look like he’s wearing a jacket, so it’s easy to think he’s not wearing one and therefore doesn’t have any sleeves. But since Daim designed Neon J and knows about all our fanart, he’d know that J is actually wearing a full sleeved jacket and that the fans haven’t been drawing it right, but just hasn’t mentioned it yet.

TL;DR: I think this answer is Google Translate failing to say that “Daim Dziauddin knows that the fans are drawing Neon J with no sleeves when he’s actually wearing a long sleeved jacket.”

- “As for the raw part, it’s a secret.”

Pretty sure this is about Neon J and how much of his real body is left, as the first three characters from Rie’s answer translate to “raw body,” but google might have fucked up again and left “body” out of the full translation. The only thing I’m not sure about is what was asked to give us this answer…
