You good?
Hey anon. I hope you're doing well.
In all honesty, no. Not at all. Going through an extremely rough period.
My health has unfortunately gotten bad enough that I can't work full time. This is bad enough, but my manager is being a complete ass to me about it. I had a long talk with her at the start of this, as well as my store manager and she does everything in her power to make sure my schedule is messed up (either scheduling me way too many hours or, like next week, scheduling me none at all. Which is bad enough, but my paychecks are also being garnished because of some issues with PTO when I went down to part time.
Presently, I'm two months behind on rent. I'm doing everything I can to make extra money. I DoorDash when I can, am looking for remote jobs, and even tried sex work and I'm getting nowhere.
And the looming homelessness, as well me just wondering how I'm going to live period (especially with rent going up $100 next year), my depression and anxiety is through the roof....to the point where it's almost crippling.
I honestly want to just give up. Not because I'm just so sad I can't stand it, but because it's simply impossible to live with the cards I've been dealt.
(The worst thing is that my health is as bad as it is from working myself constantly into the ground beyond my limits....and it's like I'm getting punished for having been a good worker.)
I'm still trying though, for whatever that's worth. I'm also working on finally starting a business, so....keep your fingers crossed for me.
And thanks for checking on me at all. Seriously. It's very hard to not feel alone right now, so I appreciate you. :)

This somehow seems fitting
Ok, Spoofy wrapped is up, yall know the drill and for once I'll participate. Send me an ask 1-101 and I'll send the link I get in response
Out of curiosity, if you had to pick, what would be your favorite scenes from DragonBall Z?
Oh wow! That’s a pretty bloated one. lol I’m pretty sure I’m going to miss a few, but here’s some off of the top of my head.
21 for spotify thing
Apres Une Reve, Gabriel Fauré and Nicole Benedetti
Hey, I know this is a bit random to ask of you, but have you heard of the show BoJack Horseman, on Netflix? I've watched some episodes, and it's actually a really good show! It looks like some Family Guy knock-off at first, but it actually focuses on topics like depression, substance abuse, loneliness, among other things. If you haven't seen it yet, give it a shot! You might like it!
Hey hey!
So, so very sorry it’s taken me so long to get to this, last month was insanely busy for me.
I’m aware of Bojack Horseman. Pretty much everyone I know RAVES about it!
However....I don’t know. I just could NOT for the life of me get into it. :/I’m not sure why. I gave it a fair shot, I think. (And by “fair shot”, I mean I forced myself to watch it at least five times, twice all the way through to the second or third season.)
I don’t know. I just found the show not that interesting and the characters intolerable to the point where I was like “why should I care about what happens to any of these people?” I just got “typical Hollywood douches” from them.
Though, I have been thinking of giving the show like a 6th try. :/ Maybe I just wasn’t in the right mindset at the time. When my depression’s at it’s worst, it’s EXTREMELY hard for me to get into a new show or even something I love sometimes unless it’s just something that hooks me completely. (It’s why I didn’t watch much of Season 4-BPS of Ed Edd n Eddy back when it first aired since I was just a casual fan at the time.)
So, who knows if and when I try again?
What do you think Ed was so mad about aside from the pebble in Little Ed Blue?
I think it was one of those things where if you're already agitated, every other little thing will set you off as well.
While Ed will typically go along with whatever anyone says about him, at the end of the day, no one wants to be made fun of or looked down on (such as Double Dee's problem with Ed's hygiene).
