🎯 Have any of your readers accurately guessed major plot points? Care to share which?

Hand Over Hand Over Hand has gotten a few commenters get things right iirc... someone called out that Izuna was acting like he did because instincts were suddenly more like an alpha's because of the change in situation, and someone correctly guessed that the daimyo's wife was hiding an illness under all her makeup.

I think some of the commenters on Just a Concerned Citizen guessed some of the smaller things too, though its been too long that I don't remember who or what...

😬 Which of your fics would you be most horrified for friends, family, or coworkers to stumble upon?

If they know what omegaverse is, HOHOH, because just from looking at the tags idk if it's clear that it's like... a more in depth exploration into the trope and not just Gender Essentialism 2 .

Fun fact, this christmas my sister got me Moshang plushie keychains and admitted that to going to my ao3 to see "who my guys were"... the only moshang fic I have on there is pwp, so uhhh........

Aren't you lucky, that between you and Cal, you're the one who actually got your husband back.

“You think I don’t know that? That I don’t catch her eye sometimes when she’s looking in our direction and feel the guiltiest I’ve ever felt in my life? She’s the best person I know. I knew that the day I watched her marry Yohan, the most radiant bride I’d ever seen even though they knew what was coming. And these days I don’t sense an ounce of bitterness in her. I don’t know how. I don’t think I could do the same.” She shakes her head. “No, actually. I know I couldn’t. And yet when she tells me she’s happy for us, God, I believe her. But it’s not fair. None of this is fair. Especially for Cal.” 

Rose grits her teeth before more words come tumbling out: “None of this should have happened. I shouldn’t have lost Frank, she shouldn’t have lost Yohan. This should be easy. No part of this should be bittersweet, it should just be sweet. But I have to raise my child in this place, and try and fail to know my husband after seven years, and watch my friend grieve every single time she looks at us. Do I know I’m lucky? Of course I do. But if you’re trying to imply that I have it easy, you need to think twice. None of us have it easy. No matter how lucky I may be.”

Do you feel any guilt knowing Frank spent the last years trying to get back to you while you thought he was dead?

She’s not prone to fits of anger, never has been – the courtroom teaches a person how to keep their cool. Still, Rose bristles some at the question. “Just because I was forced to bury him doesn’t mean I thought he was dead.” She replies shortly, trying and failing to keep the ice out of her tone. “Any Boston-area detective will tell you: even when the family stopped searching, even when they made me put a casket in the ground in his name, I didn’t give up on Frank. Plenty of people wished I would, but I tried to find him as much as he tried to return to us. Do I wish I’d worked harder? Tried different things? Of course. But how could I have known?”

If you could have one movie (or one book, or one song, etc) to have on the island, what would it be? What about for Josephine?

Rose’s brow furrows as she contemplates. “You know, I’m not sure when I last watched a movie that wasn’t animated.” She laughs a little, then shrugs. “I’ll go with music, then. Have you ever heard anything by Ray LaMontagne?” Rose pauses, then nods. “He has this one song – ‘Let It Be Me.’ There was this one night where it came on the radio. I was up to my ears in paperwork, and pregnant, so I felt awful, and he was so busy grading papers. But for some reason, Frank and I both set our work aside and took a moment to just... dance. So that song always brings about good memories. Jo and I danced to it together a few years after... well. You know. At a wedding. But anyway – I think I know her answer, but I’ll ask her.” The mother stoops down, smirking as she receives a response in the form of a whisper in her ear. “She says Frozen 2. I’m not surprised. The girl has a serious Elsa obsession.”

How does it feel seeing Frank again? Does Cal know who he is? Does it matter to you if she does?

This one takes a moment of thought, and Rose swallows hard before answering. “When you dream about something for so long, I guess reality will inevitably be different from you imagined. Seeing him again means everything. But... so much has changed.” She leaves it at that – these don’t feel like thoughts to be aired on a public stage, after all. The next answer comes more easily. “Cal knows who he is. Everyone in my life knew – even Josephine, who couldn’t remember seeing him with her own eyes. I made sure that she knew. I’m not sure how they’ll relate, though, he and Cal. Or... he and Josephine, I suppose.” Rose is lost in the evidently new thought for a moment, but then quickly shakes her head. “Of course it matters. And they’ll be fine. Frank can get along with anyone. And Jo already loves him.”

who can make you smile no matter how bad you feel? / what is one thing you always carry with you?

“My daughter.” Unlike most of her other answers, Rose takes no time to ponder this one. “She’s so precocious. So smart. And some of the things she thinks up... well, she never fails to make me laugh, even when she’s not trying.” Her gaze has softened as she looks to Jo, a few yards away and digging in the sand. As for an important belonging – Rose reaches below the collar of her shirt for that, drawing out a chain. On it are a few belongings: a star of David and three rings. “The gold ring is Frank’s. A class ring, because I just... I don’t know, I wanted something I knew he’d worn.” The other two are self explanatory, but she still thoughtfully rolls them between her fingers. “I can never go more than a week without wearing these on my finger. I wear them more often than I don’t. My mother tried to nudge me into getting back out there and that wearing my wedding rings will just deter any prospects... but they’re priceless to me. And I was never looking for prospects.”
