So this an idea that came to me tonight and I thought it would be great if it were applied here on Tumblr, so I’m going to share it with you all.
I’m pretty sure we all have reblogged one of this ask memes, such as this one
We reblog it happily expecting that someone out there will sned us an ask.
However the sad truth is that, if you do not have an insane amount of followers or close friends in Tumblr, you might not receive any ask at all.
And, especially when you’re new you can get a bit disapointed by not getting any messages. It takes a lot of time and luck to get some asks in your inbox and sometimes it’s kind of sad to see some people getting a lot of asks and you not reciving any at all.
So to help this situation I invented an easy method to help people get more asks in their inbox. These are the steps.
When you reblog an ask meme, ask something to the person you reblogged it from.
If any follower of yours reblog the ask meme, also ask them a question.
When you receive an ask, ask something in return as a way of saying thank you.
I’ve seen people doing it, and I’m doing it myself, but I wanted to make it something more “official” on Tumblr. I think it’s a really effective method, that way we all have fun asking and answering questions and no one is left out of the game!
