This was actually a great exercise in going through my docs and clearing some old shit out. So thanks for that, but at the same time now I have some anxiety about how long some of these pieces have been waiting for me. Oops. I swear I’ll get them all done eventually. XD Anywho, feel free to hit me up the title of any of these pieces, because these are the ones I *can* talk about.

2. how easily does your oc make friends?

I already answered #2 here, BUT to add a bit, once someone gets past the intimidating exterior, it’s a surefire shot to friendship, albeit a slow one (unless someone lies to her lmao). Friendship with Kyara is work, but it definitely pays off in a loyal ally. 

25. what does it take for your oc to trust someone?

It takes quite a bit for Kyara to trust someone completely. She pays attention to actions and words, and trust with her is very gradual. If morals align, it becomes a lot easier to gain her trust, but actions always seal the deal. She’s a pretty insightful person and is usually a good judge of character (aside from mistakes with bobby but who’s counting), but people still have to prove themselves to her- that and it’s a nice confidence boost when she’s right lol. It took a lot less than expected to trust Unit Bravo, which shook her up a bit. It’s not every day people slip into her good graces. 

Self-sacrifices are a surefire way to garner her trust. If someone is willing to risk their life for somebody else, it speaks to their character. Maybe it’s the soldier in her, but it resonates very deeply with her, perhaps more than any other act.

30. which highschool movie stereotype would they fit best?

AIGHT so here’s the tea. She’s too strong and intimidating to be the Geek/Nerd, too active to be the Loner, and too smart to be the Jock. So by process of elimination, she’s absolutely the Athlete. She’s incredibly active, maintaining a strict (more like grueling) workout regimen. She relaxes by working out and enjoys sports when she can get a chance to play them. While she was in therapy after her service, her therapist recommended that she stay active, and she took to working out like a fish to water. She can’t not be active, so by process of elimination, she’s the Athlete for sure.

Forgall: If given the opportunity, would your muse resurrect someone they cared about?

That’s a maybe for Alun, she would most likely try to do it for someone she cares for - a deceased parent of a friend or someone dear; as she doesn’t have many people that she cared about but her parents and she would leave her father very much dead - the only person she’d want to resurrect would be her mother, and even then she knows that this decision is something that she’d probably regret or not be very fond of as she never really got to meet her. Despite the hardship of her childhood, she thinks those memories are better forgotten and buried in the Steppes.

Though Skadi can’t yet resurrect/bring back people as she likes, she wouldn’t bring back anyone in specific if she already had that power in hands - as she doesn’t hold anyone dear enough for it to be a thing (not yet at least?), she’d only raise anything or anyone that could assist her in her goal, as they are but tools for her to command.

3. Who is the most romantic?

Aight but hear me out- it’s a tie but Nat gets an early headstart on the romance. Nat s definitely more open about being romantic from the start, and that’s not to say Kyara isn’t a romantic- she is! It just takes her a little bit to actually let herself indulge in those butterfly feelings and put on those rose-colored lenses. Once she does, she’s probably on par with Nat. For Kyara, romance is a pretty private thing, something that she only wants to enjoy with Nat, so she likes to do things that revolve around the two of them or will allow her to keep her focus solely on Nat.

6. Who would they ask if they ever had a threesome?

Good lord, this is hilarious xD I don’t think either of them would, but if Kyara had to ask anyone, it’d be @mcousland ‘s Elide. In a Duo Detective AU we have, Kyara definitely had a crush on Elide growing up. Even now, it’s very easy for Elide to fluster Kyky, much to Kyara’s frustration. I have no idea for Nat, if I’m being quite honest. 

11. What do they hide from one another?

I don’t imagine they hide anything from each other, but if anything, I imagine Kyara would try to hide when she has panic attacks that’re brought on by her triggers, at least at first. It wouldn’t be something she’s too keen on sharing at first, but as their relationship progresses, she would want to let Nat in completely, and talking about her PTSD is part of that process.

12. What first changes when it starts getting serious?

The very first thing? Proximity. When things start getting serious between these two, Kyara stops fighting the urge to be close to Nat. They gravitate towards each other and do so freely. Kyara feels so much better when she’s at Nat’s side, and will always seek her out when she’s nearby. Letting go of that inhibition would be such a freeing feeling for Kyara that it would feel incredibly odd to be anywhere but at Nat’s side.

23. Where is their favourite place to be together?

Nat really enjoys being in the library, and Kyara enjoys being with her. They both love the quiet and comfort that the space provides, surrounded by scores of old tomes. It’s quite normal for them to be found reading together in their free time. They’d both occupy a couch or loveseat with Kyara resting her head in Nat’s lap. Every now and then, they’d take breaks to “discuss” the texts they’re reading, but those discussions don’t last long in favor of kisses. At times Kyara doesn’t even read; she simply relishes in watching Nat get lost in a book. Sometimes she’ll accidentally fall asleep, but it isn’t because she’s bored! It’s because she’s so comfortable in the space, surrounded by the things and the woman she loves ^^

5. is your oc imaginative or more down-to-earth?

Welp, Kyara’s a Capricorn, so by law she’s obligated to be down-to-earth. She’s very grounded and steers away from letting her imagination get the better of her. She’s very practical and realistic, at times too much for her own good. She maintains a pessimistic world view and tends to keep her hopes low. She’d like to get more imaginative, but she’s been through and seen too much. Resident Negative Nancy. The most imaginative she gets is daydreaming about Nat lol.

10. would your oc be described as “the life of the party”?

Answered this one here! BUT I’ll throw out there that she’s very socially awkward, but if she’s given enough time to prepare (a month or some shit), she might be able to pull off hosting a party. Give her a heads up and she actually might be charming!

15. are they opinionated or more willing to change their minds?

Answered this one here! BUT I’ll add that Kyara appreciates a good debate on topics. She enjoys witnessing Ava and Nat go back and forth on things, as well as throwing her own hat in the ring against either vampire. They keep her mind turning, and they offer new perspectives. If someone can bring that to a debate, she might consider changing her stance. Unless you’re @mcousland’s Det. Elide Harker and you’re bringing up Falk. Then good luck lmfao.

20. are they vengeful?

Underneath that stoic exterior is someone with the potential to be very vengeful, yes. If people in Wayhaven or someone she cares about gets hurt, she’ll stop at nothing to find and stop the person responsible. She’s hell-bet on getting them where she wants ‘em, but when it comes to actually exacting her vengeance, she hesitates. Yes, she wants that monster to suffer, but then wouldn’t she be as bad as them? It’s a battle between her head and her heart. Gosh, this is such a tricky question for her because she’d want to make that person suffer, but she doesn’t think it’d be a good idea. At the end of the day, she’d follow orders as instructed and adhere to the Agency’s “No Kill” policy. 

25. what does it take for your oc to trust someone?

Answered this one here! BUT to add onto it, I’ll throw out that it’s easy for that trust to be lost, especially in comparison to how long it takes to gain it. Once she trusts somebody, she holds them to a high standard. If they break it, they get knocked down a peg. Their work to get back to where they were just doubled lmao. 

30. which highschool movie stereotype would they fit best?

I’m still on my high school movie bullshit so!! here we go.

Kyara (the Athlete) would be on a good number of sports teams, including softball, field hockey, and track. She’s definitely the captain of the softball team because she deserves to wear a letterman jacket and be That Bitch. She’s got good grades, but don’t ask why she’s getting science tutoring from Nat. Just like...don’t ask... Also don’t look into why Kyara starts sitting with highschool UB and not the jock table. Or her moving seats to sit with Nat in chemistry. Just shuddup about it.

Starting Dungeon: “Alley rat..? What a funny name... Well, let’s do our best here, they won’t see us coming!”

Assisting: “We can do this, together.”

Being Assisted: “I-I’m sorry for this...”

Idle Dialogue: “Alley... rat. How did you get this name? Y-Your blades look really cool. And your hair too!”

Witnessing Alley KO: “Oh n-no, shite...“

Reviving Alley: “ Oh, fucking fucks’... Are you ok? ”

Finishing Dungeon: “Ha!! That was great! Come, I’ll treat you to something in the restaurant! And you can tell me more about your name!”

Alun would definitely be a prick about Alley’s names and maybe look, not out of rudeness but just being curious and ignoring all social boundaries. Personal space? What? Though she’d genuinely be curious about Alley’s origins and her name, and find her really cool-looking/attractive. They’d both be a fast DPS together, being both rogue-like, Alun would rush to assist her whenever she needed, and still do some ranged DPS while making sure that Alley is ok.

Send “My Turn!” for Trust dialogue my character would have with yours.

Mimic: A stranger is caught rifling through your muse’s possessions! How do they react? ❤❤❤

Alun wouldn’t think twice before pulling her daggers or gun against whoever is going through her possessions, even if they weren’t a stranger, she would be really uncomfortable with anyone going through her things without permission.

Even though she doesn’t have anything really expensive - most of her items  are things that she holds dear, as she keeps it to remind her of people that might not be around, it’s as if she’s carrying them with her. Things she can’t afford to lose so, she would be really aggressive while dealing with this situation/wouldn’t really ask questions before taking back her belonging.
