'Beginnings' and 'Besties' for the Infamous ask game!!!

Doing this in point form because i am lazy. Also, I know your icon is Willow and Kitty making out, but it looks like a white blob

I love yapping about my ocs so feel free to ask more questions because I am an attention whore (like Willow)

Beginnings: When and how did they know they wanted to be a professional musician? Was there a deciding factor?

Johnny

Probably when he was in about grade 11 or 12

The deciding factor for him was just being around his friends and enjoying what they were doing with their music

He never thought much of his singing and just thought people were being nice when they told him he was talented or complimented him on his singing in general

But as Muddy Wheel started getting more gigs and stuff, he slowly started to realize people weren't just being nice

And this increased his confidence in his own skills as a musician and a singer as a whole

Johnny is a person who doesn't really care much about fame/fortune

He makes music "for the love of the game"

Willow

Willow has enjoyed singing her whole life

It's one of the few things people complimented her--even her parents (to an extent, since they aren't big on compliment their daughter), until the band started getting "too big"

I think as soon as she and Seven created the idea of a band, Willow essentially had stars in her eyes and was seeking fame

She's a little fame-hungry, if you can't tell

I think the deciding factor for her was probably Marble in the Sun's first performance... which I have no decided where it was as of yet but it was probably in some kind of bar the gang used fake IDs to get into or something

Besties: What’s their friendship with Rowan like? What are some things only he knows about them?

Johnny

Johnny and Rowan are pretty close--outside of Seven back when she was in the band, Johnny probably considers Rowan his best friend

Their friendship is probably that classic just bros being bros (i want them to kiss)

Just two guys in a hot tub sitting five feet a part cause they are not gay

In all seriousness, they find it difficult to confide and get emotional with each other

Not really for lack of wanting to, but since Seven left the band, there's been this strain there that nobody wants to talk about. I mean this is probably just with all the members, except for August... but yeah

Otherwise, Johnny and Rowan get along pretty well

They are best friends and they love each other more than either is willing to admit

Johnny is more open about his feelings in most scenarios where I imagine Rowan is a little more like "Dude, stop being mushy" but would eventually pull Johnny in for one of those side hug things guys do where they loop an arm around the other's shoulders

but maybe I'm mis-interpreteing Rowan, idk

Willow

These two fuckers bully each other

They are siblings to me

People joke about how they should kiss or fuck (because boy-girl can't be friends, haha so funny) and they are like "Hmmm no"

Tbh though Willow and Rowan are pretty close and Rowan is the first person in the band Willow goes to if she has a problem or if she's really upset

Willow's actually a bit weird and would rather confide in strangers than her closest friends

She's scared of vulnerability cause her parents convinced her she was ugly and stupid and worthless from a young age

Rowan does bad mouth her parents (he's correct though)

And this upsets Willow, but she truly does know he's right. She just doesn't want to admit it

She's really one of those "Come on, they aren't THAT bad" type of kids when it comes to her parents

They would also totally pretend to date just to fuck with the paparazzi (sadly it would not end up with them actually falling in love)
