“I mostly remember day-to-day types of things… before, when my brain suddenly decided to fuck off and skip to a different subject, whatever i was thinking about before would be out the goddamn window. Not only that, but chances were the next thing i thought of would be interrupted by the next, and so on and so on.
Now, I can usually finish or at least keep up with a set of thoughts until i get bored and choose to think of something different. Even when my mind does jump to a different subject, i’m better at keeping track of what i was thinking before so i can go back to it later if it was important, though it’s still pretty common for me to have to stand around for a bit trying to remember what i was thinking about, and it dosen’t always come back to me, so i might not remember it until it suddenly hits me a day or two later. it’s usually not completely gone anymore though.
As for remembering past stuff… ah. The latest person at the Defective Head Meat Institute said something about ADHD and different issues with my memory and some other shit… apparently its not just one or two things messing me up, but a whole patchwork of shit. something about my brain not storing memories correctly, plus a lack of impulse control, and how a big part is this physical thing, called it ‘Chronic Flooding’ and mentioned a bunch of chemical imbalances… fuck i don’t remember it all. …what was i saying…?
