Hi piku! Just wondering but are there any discord servers of anything that is star ocean or valkyrie profile? I want to join if there are any.

There is 3 Star Ocean discords I know of, one for the series in general, two for the mobile game. I will not promote one of the game ones (the owner is a big loli fan and therefore I just... no. Anyhow...) But if you want to join the other two just send me a message and I’ll pass off a link. 

I haven’t seeked out or found any Valkyrie Profile ones, but I’d certainly be interested in one. I imagine there has to be one for the mobile game out there somehow BUT the Star Ocean discords all have VP fans already. The two franchises overlap enough that if you like both, you’ll find both in the same spots lol

Idk if you’ve played persona 5 but one of the main characters has the same VA as Fidel (and that p5 character swears all the time). upon replay I keep expecting Fidel to curse. Cmon tri-ace let Fiddly say fuck!

I have not played Person 5, but you reminded me of a meme my friend made which I think is quite applicable here.

What are your favorite SO2 ships?

I’m fairly nontraditional.

My top ship is Ashton x Rena. When I was young and read the guidebook, I always thought they described each other when they describe their perfect mate. And I do like the little scenes we do get with them. They are sweet and I love them.

Also I have shipped Dias x Chisato for a long ass time. I think they are pretty much canon though.

Other than that, I can be fairly flexible. I think the only thing I am fairly anti is Claude with Rena. He’s way too creepily possessive of her. I prefer him with Precis. But Precis could also go with Leon so I’m not all that picky.

Not that I know of, but I could certainly try to arrange one if there is enough interest.

Hi! I hope it's okay if I ask you this; you're one of the only active SO fans I know of. Do you play the Star Ocean mobile game? I was just wondering how often it's updated. I was thinking of giving it a try, but I wasn't sure how active new characters/events and such are. If you don't play it, that's cool, and sorry for bothering you!

I do play it! It’s pretty active, actually. Just Friday, they released Ashton from SO2 and Mavelle from SO1! There is constantly new events, and plans to release more characters. About once a month, they actually have a stream where they drop a “hint” on who the new character will be. This month was “misfortune” so we all knew it was going to be Ashton lmao

I know a fair amount of fans that have blown a lot of money on the game so far to get who they want, but I have yet to spend a cent and I got Rena and Ashton pretty easily, so I’m lucky. I also won a “special costume” Claude where he is dressed rather princely. So, overall, if you are a fan of the series, I would definitely recommend looking into playing it. There is new fun at least once a month and it’s pretty easy to play despite the lack of English (although I have a guide a friend linked RIGHT HERE that can help greatly with navigating when you first start).

tri-Ace is spoiling us and it makes me happy :’)

Child we go back a century at least now, back in the days of Star Ocean geocities fansites and all that good stuff.

We are friends who have always had differing opinions on the beast known as Star Ocean: Till The End of Time. And she’s always hassled me for liking Ashton and I likewise hassle her for liking Claude.

It’s our shtick. She knows I love her lmao
