Love your AO3 post, but in the interest of spreading correct information to the YouthTM and others, could you remove the final bullet point in your list? AO3 is an archive for fanworks, not fanfiction, and essays/meta are very much encouraged alongside other fandom-related media (hence podfics, video edits, and fanart also being included). It’s actually kinda disheartening to see people being told that AO3 isn’t a place for their essays and theories when it very much is. Like that’s literally part of what’s meant to be archived. AO3 has never been fanfic-only.

The post was updated so long ago man. That point hasn't existed for some time and there's nothing I can do to stop the outdated one circulating

who are your favorite top ten black clover characters and ships? talk about them! ~tat!

Hey there! Thank you so much for asking. 

This was actually fun to think about, I hadn’t tried to put my BC favorites into a top ten yet! 

Top Ten Characters: 

William Vangeance  William is honestly one of the main reasons my friend was able to get me into Black Clover, and he has stayed in that top spot the entire time. I love his design, personality, story-- just, everything. 

Zora Ideale Similar to above-- my very first Black Clover OC is with Zora, even though she started out as a joke/crack character before I watched it. 

Luck Voltia He’s chaos and adorable, again similar to the above situation where I was being shown characters to get me into Black Clover. They succeeded with these three and now I’m in love with the series. 

Langris Vaude At first he fell into the “I love the villains/bad guys/guys with a bad attitude” category, but the more he progresses the more I love him?? And his eyes, his eyes are so pretty. He might have had a pretty questionable start, but I enjoy every single scene this man is in. 

Zenon Zogratis I love villains, like I said above, and he’s no exception. Right from his first appearance I knew I was doomed for him to be a favorite. He’s just so awesome? I really can’t explain it better than that. Badass villain, great design, I’m honestly surprised he’s 5th and this is my list, haha! 

Rill Boismortier His magic is so cool, and his energetic personality is just so lovable. Not to mention he’s just overall adorable. He grew on me very quickly. 

Nozel Silva Another one I was shown to tempt me, but he didn’t really stick at first-- I was thrown off by his braid, but once I actually started the show I absolutely loved him. He’s who my OC Lark is with! 

Yuno It started off just as a preference for Yuno’s quiet nature over Asta’s loud one during the first few episodes, but then he just stayed one of my favorites. I love his rivalry with Asta and how much he progresses-- just an overall good boy. 

Noelle Silva I sometimes struggle to like female characters just because I struggle to connect to “damsels in distress” but this girl just proved all that wrong? (Honestly all the BC girls are amazing!) It didn’t take her long to grow on me, and watching her progress with her family is one of my favorite things. 

Secre Swallowtail Her design -- she’s so cute. Though honestly I loved her as a bird in general, and then just... she’s just so cute, and I love her loyalty and relationship with Asta.

I haven’t put a ton of thought into Black Clover pairings overall?? So I think I fall into a fairly common zone with pairings I like. 😂😂 However I’m going to leave this at top five, just because I don’t have that many (at least right now)! 

Top Five Character Pairings: 

Asta and Noelle Like I said -- I fall into a ‘common liked pairing’ zone for a lot of these! I just think Asta is great for Noelle and helping her step into her own abilities/progress while not being overbearing / overshadowing her.

Yami and Charlotte Their interactions are just priceless, and seeing such a strong woman fall in love but stay strong is fantastic. 

Gauche and Grey Though neither made it onto my character top ten, I love both of them. Her being so shy and him so blunt just works.

Rill and Charmy Just that he’s in love with her and doesn’t even really know it’s her, I think it’s super cute and fitting for Rill.

Finral and Vanessa I don’t have much of a reason behind this one, just that I think they’d be super cute, and they get along well.
