i love that i made 100 posts leading up to my birthday and then FORGOT to post at all about it on the day. anyway it was my birthday yesterday, i am now 29 years old and that much more senile

So about two times in a row. When I got out of the game Sebastian's voice line would say" good luck" whenever I closed the game.

thinking about system-of-a-feather and XIVs post about not being a traumatized uwu baby and taking pride in what it takes to survive and

saw our mom yesterday and she was talking about how hard of a kid we were to raise (she has no idea that we’re a system, or that we have CPTSD) and our host is pretty sensitive and felt hurt by this but inside i was like good????? if I hadn’t made her life “harder” then we literally wouldn’t be alive today because everything i ever did that made our mom feel like we were difficult to raise was stand up for us for basic fucking needs. if things went our mom’s way we would’ve been a mindless servant for her or tbh dead by now but instead we emancipated ourselves and got through school, we figured out how to house ourselves on minimum wage in one of the most expensive cities in america, and now even with being multiply disabled and a trans poc etc etc we have a career and a life that *we* wanted to have like i’m really fuckin happy one of our abusers thought we were difficult tbh because if she thought we were an easy kid I would’ve failed at being a protector 

also i feel like i need to be the protector as the rehabilitated persecutor of the system because people are fucking horrendous to us still and if anyone else in the system had this job i feel like we would be getting taken advantage of all the fucking time. and it works out for me that our host is generally so like kind to everyone including random strangers because then when i’m a huge asshole to somebody, other people in our life still sympathize with us n shit because they think we’re a “good” person (i don’t really believe in good or bad people anyway)
