frankensteed has got basically everything I want, it's pretty much a dream blog for me to follow. It has a supremely designed pony character, gorgeous art, a developing story instead of random asks being answered, it's a blog with a darker theme and it has a questionable doctor doing experiments in it! How could I NOT love it?? >v<
Drawing shiny and glowy things is difficult in MS Paint, but I really wanted to make that mane and those eyes of his justice. It took some trial and error, but I think I did alright! Also, I need to draw lightning more often. It's fun!

Holiday Contest!
It's December and Christmas is just around the corner! So, uhm, I'm going to host a contest..!
Task:
Draw Redeye celebrating Hearth's Warming Eve, in whatever fashion you like. The more true to Redeye's situation and personality you are, the bigger your chance of winning!
Rules:
1. Redeye must be in the drawing 2. Must be in-character for Redeye! I'm sorry, but I really don't want to see Redeye dancing and singing and being super duper energetic.
Tips:
Since he is Redeye's only official friend, adding in Scar Patch will give you a few extra points!
Adding in a background will definately give you extra points!
Prizes! Prizes all around! Or not >v< 1st Place - A fully shaded drawing with a simple background of up to two ponies! 2nd Place - A colored drawing of up to two ponies!
Bonus Prize - If you manage to include something out of my favorite winter story from a famous Scandinavian author, you get a little chibi pony prize!
Deadline is December 25th!
