Can we see how Nemi holds Falcon? (And Zane being around to look after her like an older brother.)
I thought a sketch wouldn't hurt here

I legit screamed when I saw you reblogged a post of mine. *fangirl ing on ground* Senpai has noticed me!!!!
Ahh I didn’t think people would get excited bc of me lol
what was your favorite thing to draw this year and why
(sry its not a more exciting question. But I’m curious)
Honestly I think creating Za'Rath's design has been the coolest part this year. She has been in my drafts for almost 2 years so giving her an appearance was a mini milestone!
Hey, have you ever drawn/thought of a Lloyd x Nemari kid? Like a next gen sort of
I did have some basic ideas before, but I haven't finalized them yet. So, here are some first concepts of their kids! Names, as well as some design may change again.
Ichiro, the first born.
A quiet, shy but sweet kid. He often observes and analyzes situations, rarely going for confrontation.
Similar to Nemari, he discovered his shapeshifting ability fairly early. Though, he had a bit more control of it than his mother.
Wanting to have a similarity with her, he kept his wings in human form as well, despite not being able to fly with them just yet.
"Powers yet uncertain" means I haven't decided yet if he will also learn magic spells like Nemari or resume to usual Ninja combat weapons.
Nymeria, the second born.
A bit of a moody one, but she's passionate and has a good heart. Despite being 4 years younger than her brother, she always stands up for him and wants to be by his side.
When Ichiro is spending time with Nemari for dragon 'training', Nym can get a bit jealous and feels casted out, as she has not inherited any dragon features or abilities. This frustration has led to severe outbursts that may or may not have resulted in an Oni transformation. She doesn't remember it though.
After a long debate, Lloyd has reached out to Garmadon, in order to seek advice how to control the oni form (since he himself isn't the best at mastering that, let's be real).
When her brother and mother are away, she spends the time with Lloyd, who is usually on the training course or in the library. She often begs him to teach her combat moves or to learn how to use a weapon.
First time I've drawn them, they're so precious ♡
When will you finish the next part of this most interesting story? Everyone is eagerly awaiting it.
I know people are waiting, but unfortunately I am not making this comic for an audience. I'm a full-time student and dont even have time to draw stuff for myself. Balancing uni, friends, relationship, hobbies and other responsibilities along with drawing is very tough recently and I don't have motivation to push through.
That being said, the comic isn't over, but I do it when I have the time and motivation for it. Handling my social media is my least priority right now. I hope you understand
are nemari's horns based off of Lunar moth antenna? like how they have feather like fluff on them?
They actually are, you picked it up well!
I wanted the wide shape of the antenna but as a feather instead so I mixed the two! They actually are feathers and not horns so they're pretty soft, flowy and somewhat droopy!
Here's a pic of a lunar moth, so TW insect (?)
I don't think anyone has asked you this before, can you tell us about the beginning of your passion for art/animation and Ninjago?
Also the beginning of the creation of Nemari, The process of assembling the story. Going through several stages before becoming what she is today :›
Thank you for your question!
The beginning of my art "journey" already started in kindergarten, because drawing has always been my go-to activity, mo matter where I was or what time.
I doodled everything, but really started to consciously draw was in middle school, where I had my 'My Little Pony' phase. From there I transitioned over to furry drawings, where I got my first commission. During that time I pretty much drew every day.
It was in high school where I watched my first anime and started drawing more human characters. Thats also where I had a co-written story with my back-then best friend and it was about Nemari and her own Ninjago OC.
The AGAE comic is this exact co-written story, but more detailed. It's a tribute to the time I had back then, because everything was great at that time. Now, everything changed in my life- I moved, I have different friends, I'm older, etc. But this story still means a lot to me, thats why AGAE is very important to me and I dont do it for the audience, but for myself.
For Nemari herself, I already had an idea of a Ninjago OC back in middle school. She didnt have a name, or a design, she was just a concept of a girl with wings that can transform into a dragon, since it was my biggest interest (and still is today). She real design came in my early high school year, where I first drew her for this co-written story. It was then she got a name and everything else too.
These are the earliest pictures of her I can find:
Ask you can see, she didnt change too much after that, just some slight hairstyle adjustments.
So yeah, thats pretty much how it all came together.
I loved the way you did Lloyd's hair instead of a bowl cut (why change it though?)
I mainly changed it because 1) it's easier for me to draw it this way and 2) people often complain about his bowl cut.
My style makes it hard for me to draw round hairstyles, I don't enjoy it. So I changed it to accommodate my drawing process and be faster with it too.
An example is also Nya, her hair is usually round but I changed it to make it easier and faster for me to draw:
