why do people find confidence intimidating?

Because of their lack of it. People fear the unknown and when they see people who look similar to them having confidence while they are extremely insecure they lash out because they don't understand where the other person's confidence is coming from.

oh yeah he's fine. hydreigon are naturally curious and, critically, don't have hands, so they tend to stick their heads into stuff/bite stuff to explore their surroundings.

conclusion: he's just exploring! unless he gets into something that would be dangerous, you can let him do his thing. he'll be alright.

also, hydreigon should have hands. give them hands.
