The answer is quite simple actually. I'm pregnant, due in september, so this year I had to take it slow regarding work. There was a lot of little plotholes in CMK, especially at the beginning of the story, that I wanted to fix. Republishing the story and giving it its own website was a passion project chill enough to been taken care off during pregnancy :3

Barto and Nina have a kind of stoner buddies with benefits / maybe in another life situationship.

Before their breakup, ChainsawMetalKiller weren't really clear on the boundaries of their relationship. Even if they were in a closed throuple they had hall passes here and there.

That's how, after eating edibles together at Uta's concert, Nina and Barto ended up making out in her tent. Which lead to his presence on the dadpool
